This hotel is definitely above a typical 3-star experience. The room design is modern, with plenty of table space, and it comfortably accommodated our family of four. Breakfast offers a wide variety at the buffet, with additional made-to-order options available. Complimentary laundry and free bottled water were a big plus. It’s hard to find a better hotel in the 3-star category.

This hotel has good vibes and a positive culture! I've stayed here several times and have always been impressed by the helpful, courteous staff, clean rooms, and generous breakfast buffet (that even includes housemade salsa!). But in my most recent stay I was blown away by the patient and kind assistance Robert provided, not once but several times. Upon checking out, I actually forgot a little bag of jewelry in my room's safe deposit box. When I called that evening to ask about it, assuming it wouldn't be located, Robert told me that the maintenance man had indeed found it and brought it to the front desk. He assured me it would be kept there--and so a family member was able to pick it up the next morning. Many thanks to Robert and the maintenance man!

I usually don't like most hotels but Home2Suites is the exception. I absolutely love this hotel. There's a welcoming feel the moment you walk into the lobby. The lobby is spacious, clean and accommodating. There's a restaurant and bar to the left of the front desk and a mini store to the right. The mini store is filled with all the snacks and drinks that a guest would desire on their stay. The front desk personnel were professional, friendly and made the check-in process a breeze. You enter your room with a digital key card that works with no problems. Upon entering the room, you're created by a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and quality cups, plates and glasses. There is also an ironing board to keep your clothes looking good. This hotel has everything you need for a short or extended stay. The room and bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh. The bed had clean linens and comfortable for a good night's rest. There was an ice machine outside our room which was very convenient. Although it was cold outside, there were people enjoying the heated swimming pool. My wife and I ate at the restaurant and the food was great. The food was pricey but expected when located in a hotel. We would rank this hotel a solid 10 out of 10 in every category on look forward to visiting again.

We've stayed at this H2S many times when we have appointments at M.D. Anderson. The public areas and rooms are always spotless, and service is excellent. Employees are always friendly and this time was no exception. Unfortunately this trip was not quite as pleasant though. The hotel was very busy and with only one of the three elevators working, getting to and from our room required long waits and stops on most every floor. We also had an issue with the heater which made it very cold in our room. Sounds minor, but it was extremely frustrating. We'll probably return, hoping these problems are no longer an issur.
