- KBKevin BrunoOct 25, 20252.0Where do I start? Location? On the "seedier" portion of Westheimer, but I was only going to be there for one night. The hotel itself did not appear well maintained. The door to my room needed to be almost forced open because it was literally jammed against the floor, as if it had gotten wet and swelled. The phone in my room was just a phone. No cord running to it. When I called the front desk (on my cell) I was told housekeeping was gone. What does housekeeping have fo with the phone? And to add insult to injury, while other hotels hold a card on file for incidental, this Holiday Inn Express actually charged my card an extra $150, explaining that it would be returned immediately after check-out. I have not received it yet. Bottom-line: stay here at your own risk. I wouldn't recommend it.
