4.8 stars more honestly, but I'll round up, as I had no major issues. The only noticeable nitpicks were cosmetic due to the age of the building really. The lady who checked me in at night was very helpful and understanding (I didnt get her name, I'm sorry). We got an allergy friendly room and it was great for sleeping. My kid didnt spend most of the night coughing. That was well worth the price difference for the room. We actually got a beautiful Lakeview, no balcony with our room (the regular room i selected no specific view reserved when I made the room reservation so definitely a great bonus for me there). I ordered the breakfast as a room addon and was able to attend the buffet. Ludy was our server and she was awesome. Breakfast did it's job. I also used the fitness facility and it served it's purposes for my novice needs. It was clean and well stocked and nicely positioned facing the lake, so cardio was additionally tranquil. I ended up wanting to launder some clothes, but since it was the weekend, the hotel drycleaning services were not available, but Andrew at the front was able to direct me to a nearby laundry mat. The location of the hotel was very convenient to NASA and what my needs were there, and there were several restaurants and coffee shops to choose from, and a few minutes away there was a huge kids playground at the park that was perfect for the gorgeous morning. There were also specialty shops in a few niches I was searching for within 15 minutes from the hotel, so we had a great time overall. If you are looking for a super new and shiny facility, this place won't fit that need specifically, but great service, great views, great staff and location convenience (as well as great allergy friendly room) this place served proper. Not sure what it will become in the new year, as all the emails remind it's not going to be Hilton come the new year, but if it's still there and at least hosting the same great staff and views I would be honored to stay again on a return visit. Please please please keep the allergy friendly rooms. That was a huge draw for my family.

While advertised as a four star hotel, unfortunately inconsiderately loud neighbors and TV's blasting all night from adjacent rooms made for a far less comforable and restful experience than any we've had at a 2 star or even at home, and left us regretting having spent the money at all. Having worked in hospitality, I know that an establishment is only as classy as the behavior it allows and it's ability to provide an illusion of privacy. This place seems to have forgotten the fact. Was also charged an undisclosed $50 more than what was guaranteed on my online reservation for "incidentals", which was not explained or warned of until I caught it on the receipt. While I stop short of calling this fully deceptive, it is certainly in bad taste given the poor experience they must be aware from other reviews awaits you after paying the surprise total. I read that the hotel will cease operations as a Hilton soon, this not only makes sense but is most likely an indicator or further decline in quality of experience in the future.

Andrew T. noticed me carrying several market items and immediately stepped in to help without me even having to ask. His kindness and initiative made such a difference. It was truly refreshing to see someone go above and beyond with such genuine helpfulness.

The entire property is run down and dated. The ceiling above the shower was moldy and warped from improper ventilation. The tub drain was so clogged that during a five minute shower, the water was 6 inches deep. For a Hilton property, this place was an embarrassment.

We wanted to commend Rosalyn B. and Leslie for providing truly outstanding service. Both were exceptionally helpful and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout. Furthermore, we were very impressed with the room itself and thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations.
