The 5 star reviews are a bit suspicious here. Regardless, AC was out in our room for 5 hours. We left around 3:30pm and Notified the front desk not once but 3 times between 3:30 and 7:30 and it was never fixed. Long story short, after dinner we loaded up our 2 little kids and went down the road to the Marriott. I highly recommend the Courtyard down the street. Rooms were old, musty with suspicious stains, found items from previous guests left behind, used towels, etc. I’d avoid this hotel at all costs. Staff were nice here, Michelle and Lakisha both. Never saw the maintenance guy that day even though I was told he was coming to the room twice. I’m sure he’s cool if he actually exists.

We stayed for a couple of days. While the front desk service was good, the breakfast restaurant experience was poor. We felt like unwelcome guests, and service appeared to improve only when tips were given. I am happy to tip, but only when proper service is provided. One example was when the waitress asked, “Do you want anything?” in an unwelcoming manner. Paying guests deserve courteous service without feeling pressured to tip.

This hotel is satisfactory and unremarkable in most categories. The rooms are largely clean but dated in appearance. The carpets were worn in some places. The bathroom was clean and water pressure good. Hot water worked well. The HVAC wasnt as good as the heater was not working. The lobby was clean and tidy as well. There appeared to be a small shop behind the front desk area. The bathrooms downstairs were similarly clean with everything functioning properly. The breakfast buffet was excellent if not a little high priced. The cook was very good and the servers friendly. The buffet offered a wide variety and the food fresh. The restaurant gets a very good rating. The staff at night left a little to be desired with the typical Houston TX I dont care attitude. The male staff member was rather demanding when prompting me for a ID. The daytime staff was largely professional and courteous. Checkout was undramatic and good. If you can get the hotel on discount, its a good deal.

I stayed at the Hilton for one night after attending an event at the Flight Museum (12-27-25-12-28-25). The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I had a room with a view… The lady at the front desk was very nice. I checked in after 8:00. I don’t remember her name, but she had blonde hair. After checking out, I remembered that I forgot some food upstairs. Andrew Taylor offered to walk me upstairs. He helped me get my food and even carried some of it… After escorting me back down to the lobby, he walked me to my car, opened my door, placed the food inside, made sure my long dress was placed carefully inside, closed my door, and as I was about to drive off, waved goodbye and told me to have a Happy New Year! Talk about getting the Royal Treatment! Way to Go Andrew!

Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake is strategically very close to NASA. They have very good rooms and the reception area is quite pretty, but there is much to be observed about their parking lot. Entrance is quite confusing, and the number of parking spots seemed quite small for a hotel brand such as Hilton in such a place as NASA. We arrived in Christmas season, and it was a little disappointing to see a lack of Christmas decorations in Hilton, in comparison to the elegant walkway provided by nearby Marriott. Overall, great service, but little to be desired in terms of parking and decorations.
