The service here is absolutely non existent and nothing like a four seasons. Maybe they just leased the name. The management is clearly not them.

They try. This hotel is doing its best. I have so many good things to say but the not-so-good things are just very strange, as if in an effort to be accommodating, they validate actions that are just too much. I was in town for work at the convention center, my first time in Houston. I had been moved there from an over booked Marriott reservation. So, I didn't even pick this hotel for myself, but was getting a great deal. When they switched me, I contacted the concierge because I have a heart thing and I wanted the details of the walk to the convention center, since it had dramatically increased due to the move. Additionally, there was a flippin winter storm coming in which led me to arrive early. So, when I arrived safely, I told them I could wait til my room was ready, I grabbed a cup of coffee and logged into my computer to do some work. I guess this put a rush on things because not 20mins later - even though I was like 4 hours early - fully prepared to hang around -- they told me my room was ready. -- They ended up putting me in a room for people in wheelchairs. I guess an arrythmia == cant walk?! Everything in the room was short, fully accessible to someone in a chair. I guess there were enough of those to have me in one?! I adapted. Then, I needed to put my B12 supplements in the fridge, they are in tiny little bottles. But there was no fridge. They told me I couldn't use the mini fridge without being charged. Instead, they brought me a whole new mini fridge. Like a full appliance on a furniture dolly, lol. Also, there was no microwave, if I needed food heated I had to go to the 3rd floor restaurant, haha, nope. - There's a dress code and if I want to heat something up at 11pm I'm not putting on nice clothes. The ice storm shut down everything nearby, although there was no ice, it was just very cold. So, I was stuck eating within the hotel - there are 3 fine dining places where I had eggs for $30. When I asked the waiter for a side other than fries, he started telling me it would cost more instead of telling me options. He suggested broccolini and I went with that, having mentioned that I don't eat soy, he proudly brought me a plate of broccolini with miso dressing on it. Whoopsie. Finally, at work, the AV guys told me about a food court so I could get a meal at a reasonable cost. It ended up being across the skybridge on the 3rd floor of the hotel. No one who works there had mentioned this to me. The convenience store there saved my week. My per diem does not cover more than $10 for breakfast a day, so finding this food court was key to my success. You need to know about the food court. Lastly, housekeeping was way over-the-top, my room got cleaned everyday, sometimes twice! Maybe that is the standard for some folks, but they thought my belongings were trash. They took my scientific poster and threw it away! This simple mistake deeply offended me and has been hard to let go. This poster was sitting beside the couch in a ups box, ready to be shipped home after being used at the conference. And, the housekeeper just took it out like trash. Incredible. I couldn't believe it. It's been weeks and they still haven't made it right. Housekeeping that day also removed my bathrobe and didn't replace it, and they moved all my jewelry around. I had it laid out by day on the bathroom sink and they moved it, I guess to clean the sink, but it was that way on purpose. New make up remover things appeared, which were awesome, but it woulda been nice to have them everyday, since I was there for a week. It woulda been nice to have a do not disturb sign or something, because the housekeeping was a lot. Anyway, I am reporting this for others awareness. I just had such a strange experience. To be sure, I loved this hotel. I've never stayed at a hotel that tries this hard. I recommend the pool and hot tub. The bed was like a cloud. and overall people were nice. But it seemed like, to me, that it was just all a little much and that they needed to think things through and really listen rather than listening to respond.

JUST WOW! Staff were incredible. Best ACTUAL GYM I've ever seen in a hotel. Shower stayed hot. The housekeepers were too good 👍.
