The rooms are very big and quiet. I had a king suite with balcony booked through a third party site. The room was clean. The location is walking distance from fine dining spots and shopping. Very close to the freeway I had the breakfast buffet and ordered dinner from the bar. The breakfast buffet was convenient and $30. For dinner I had friend catfish and etouffee. It was okay. Maybe should have dined in instead of ordering to go. The hotel has a lot of amenities. The lobby is always busy. The front staff is hit or miss with their service skills. There are often time longer waits than what I feel would be necessary. I used self parking there is also a valet option.

This is not a four-star hotel!, The only positive that this hotel has is just being in a good location as far as getting to things are concerned, Other than that this hotel is more like a 1 star hotel, The bathroom was moldy and discolored, stains on the floor from where the workers have just been vacuuming around the same spots without actually moving things all the shades for the lamps were lob-sided and missing screws, rooms smelling and feeling MUSTY, toilets not wanting to flush, Even the iron wasn't working and when I had asked room service for a new one, the new one never showed. So service was poor and minimal. Even when checking out I said, "alright I'd like to check out please" and the worker there simply said "have a nice day" I had to make sure she knew which room I came out of and what my name was before I left because she didn't ask for any information.

I flew to Houston from Colorado to attend the broncos vs Texans game & was so grateful to have stayed here ! Courtney went above and beyond with getting me settled in & I was thrilled to receive a warm walnut cookie at check in! The staff were all very pleasant and friendly. Another gentleman whose name I did not catch, with curly hair and glasses was very helpful when I forgot to use my parking voucher & subsequently forgot my room key upstairs right after that & did not make me feel like I was being difficult. I definitely plan on staying here again if I come back to Houston! However, the room did not get five stars because the ceiling was fairly thin and I do believe I could hear somebody on Speakerphone talking through the vent Upstairs, but other than that, everything was wonderful, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty!

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences Ever – Unsafe, Unreliable, and Disrespectful This was an absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The hotel failed to provide an accessible room for my brother, who has a physical disability, despite our confirmed booking. He was forced to stay one night in a non-accessible room, putting his safety at serious risk. Housekeeping never cleaned our rooms for days, staff were rude and unhelpful, and when a storm caused a 10-hour power outage, there was no emergency lighting or safety system at all in the accessible room. The manager on duty promised a refund for all the issues, but later the hotel denied it completely. It’s clear this place does not care about guests or their safety. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s unsafe, unprofessional, and shows zero accountability.

Updated review: I originally left a bad review for this awful hotel on 8/13/24 and was then contacted by my employer in Maryland the following week and was told I had to remove my review or I would be fired. I no longer work for this awful/racist company. So I’m putting my review right back up. Unfortunately I did not save the original review be I do vividly remember why my stay was unpleasant and how the staff and management treated my like dirt. Follow along When I visited this hotel using my employee rewards account I had only been working for the company for one and half months. At my location there is only a $20 incidental fee. I assumed that was the standard fee for all Hilton hotels. Prior to this I have only ever used Airbnb for trips so I wasn’t familiar with hidden additional “incidental fees” that weren’t shown to you up front. I landed at the hotel on 8/8 and tried to check in. My card declined even though I know the exact amount for the room was on there. When I asked the front desk assiocate why it was declining and how much was he trying to charge the card, he told me he was charging the card for the full amount plus a $200 dollar incidental fee that I was never aware of. So of course my card declined because I didn’t have an additional $200 in my account. When I asked for clarification as to why I’m being charged an additional $200 the front desk said that’s how much their incidental fee is and it’s a different fee at every hotel. I was only prepared to pay the additional $20 incidental fee not $200. The front desk agent was very rude and dismissive, So I asked to speak to a manager to see if they could waive the fee because like I said I work for this company and I know for a fact that they can do that. Or at least give me a day to get the money because I was coming with a group and I was the first to arrive so I just need to contact one of them to help me make the payment but it had been a long day and I needed to check into my room still. After some time had passed the front desk employee came back and said the manager was not going to come out because he or she was in a meeting and since I am an employee for another Hilton hotel I should’ve known how much their incidental fee was even though this was my first time ever staying at that hotel or even traveling to Houston. I was shocked by that rude response from the manager. I’m not from Houston and I don’t know anyone there and these people didn’t care if I was stranded out there with no room or not. They didn’t try to help accommodate me at all. They treated me like trash. Once I finally got the incidental fee situated 40 min later. I was finally given a room key. When I got into the room it smelled like mildew. The sheets, the pillows, every single towel, smelled like mildew. It was DISGUSTING. This is after asking for a different room because they tried to give me one on the 2nd floor when I requested a high floor room. I go into the bathroom, mold all over the grout in the tubs on the ceiling, and the handle bars in the bathroom. Thankfully my sister and her husband stayed at a very nice and luxury hotel 10 min away and that’s where I took my showers. My room was disgusting and I felt disgusted sleeping on the bed i didn’t even get under the sheets. On day two my ac broke and wouldn’t shut off. My room was freezing for a whole day and night before they finally sent someone to fix it. I also never got any room service. Overall Hilton hotels in general are fake luxury. The managers are RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. It wouldn’t be smart to spend your money here. Especially if your from out of town or if you’re black. They will leave you for dead if something comes up and won’t help or accommodate you in any way which is very dangerous. This should be a 2 star motel.
