Room was comfortable enough, but was overall quite unsanitary. E.g., long black hairs and hair balls on most of my clean towels, small old blood stain on the hotel sheets, shampoo bottle never refilled The enhanced wifi never worked for me, when I called the front desk they didn’t know how to address it. Staff was friendly, amenities are fine. Place just needs a bit of an overhaul. I will avoid until then.

Checked into the DoubleTree by Hilton in Houston for a one-night stay and it was a great experience. As members, we always appreciate consistency and this location delivered. There's a Starbucks located in the lobby which makes it a nice addition for all you Starbucks fans. We stayed on the 12th floor and had a great view of the city. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Guest service was professional, efficient and genuinely friendly. Overall, this feels like a place we'll be staying at regularly.

Do not stay here. Not sure how this place has close to 4 stars. It felt like I was staying at a motel. The sheets had visible stains, the sink was clogged, hair on the bed sheets it was gross. It did not feel clean or sanitary. With the price I paid for the room I at least expected a visually clean bed. The hotel really needs remodeling. The front desk people were okay. I mentioned my concerns of the sanitation of the room to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager. They said the manager was not available and that they would call me which they did not.

Do not stay in this hotel, it's old, smelly and falling apart. First, it is a nightmare to find and the parking are very cumbersome. Once you enter, you must take two stairways to get to lobby and one wasn't working. Rooms are outdated with my faucet being installed backwards, bumpy ceilings, and moldy corners in shower (no fan). There are no microwaves, only a fridge in the room. They charged my stay to the wrong card and when I tried calling they kept me on hold for 45 mins and then woyld hang up on me..Just horrible overall experience.

Is this a four-star hotel? Not in this dimension. Maybe a three if you’re feeling generous. I dropped over $200 for one night, and honestly, I’ve had better experiences in places that didn't charge me a $40 "surprise" valet fee just to park. I was in room 606 on the 6th floor, and I’m convinced the place is at least half-haunted. At 5:00 AM, I was jolted awake by a man screaming "GET OFF ME!" I thought it was the room next door, but when I checked, I didn't see anyone staying in the rooms around me. It was so loud and frantic I didn't know whether to call security or run. I did what anyone would do: I bolted out of bed and turned on the Disney Channel. Nothing clears out those "haunted hotel" vibes quite like Mickey Mouse at dawn. The room itself was a "shoes-on" situation. The carpet looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in ages, so my boots stayed on for the commute between the bed and the bathroom. The plumbing was its own disaster. The sink pipe was leaking all onto the floor and when I tried to tighten the pipe, the whole thing just came right off in my hand. I had to give up on the sink and use the bathtub to brush my teeth. Of course, the tub didn't even need a stopper because the buildup in the pipes kept the water from draining anyway. The only people here who actually deserve five stars are the valet staff. They were incredibly professional and the highlight of the stay. It’s a shame the room didn't match the service at the curb. If you enjoy paying premium prices for falling pipes and 5:00 AM scares, this is your place. Otherwise, keep driving.
