- VPVic PJan 2, 20265.0I was able to get a room for two nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Harlingen, TX. The front desk lady was very nice and got situated my room pretty quick. Once done, I was able to go to my room and it was very nice. The beds were comfortable, restroom was clean and nice, and the breakfast was amazing. The breakfast had my heart as my family and I ate very well. The food was done great and very tasty. The room was quiet, not nosy at all, and relaxed very well. I will be back here again as this place exceeded my expectations.

She didn’t greet us, ask how our stay was, or say “thank you” when I greeted her and handed over the room key at check-out. This happened at 10:25 AM on Sunday. It felt like she was completely disconnected and uninterested in helping guests. Management should consider hiring staff who are genuinely interested in working in hospitality. Overall, the front desk staff members I observed at this location need some help with hospitality training!! Bad reputation for the Holiday Inn Express hotel management. The room were thin-walled and the A/C wasn't working well and was noisy.
