Not only did not budge on refund policy, they tried to keep my points and they also charged my card more than what the room cost. (I understand it is their policy, but it is a bad policy especially for a high level loyalty member. Double dipping in your customers when there plans change uncontrollably is not great for bringing people back)

- TBTrina BarberNov 23, 20255.0Stayed here for my daughters softball tournament in town. When I checked in I was told my room was upgraded to a suite at no charge! Was a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and their breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had at any hotel. Would recommend staying here to anyone needing a room in the area! All staff I encountered were very friendly!

Unfortunately, can't do much about the road noise outside but if it's really a problem, I'm sure they could move you to the other side of the hotel. Very clean well-kept room. All the amenities are available. If I were to recommend an improvement, I would ask the person working the breakfast area to not be chatting on her cell phone while working. She was on the phone the whole time I was eating breakfast. Minor distraction but it just seems a little out of character with the quality of Holiday Inn. Also, I was a little surprised that a $25 "access fee" was going to be added to my bill with the understanding that it would be reimbursed after I check out. Not sure if that's for damages or what but, it was new for me. I look forward to seeing it refunded in the next few days. Other than that, I was quite pleased with my stay!
