    This is the absolute best value on Lake Ray Hubbard by far. The lobby is beautiful, modern and spacious. Parking is easy, and check in was fast and pleasant. The location is perfect. Several restaurants with outstanding views of the lake are right next door. There is plenty of shops and other restaurants on the Rockwall Harbor which is just a 3 min drive over the bridge out front. The free breakfast was excellent and plenty of options to choose from. The rooms need updating as do the hallways. The carpet is old and tired. Removing carpet entirely would be an immediate and much needed upgrade. Some of the furniture is also a bit worn out, stained and in some cases falling apart. Some of the rooms are a bit worn. Several light bulbs were out in both our rooms we tried and I found a small roach crawling in the shower the next morning. For the price, you can’t beat it. The rooms were cleaned and there is a nice pool area out back. With some updates this place could easily charge almost double what these rooms are going for. We will definitely try to stay here again. It’s easily the best value for the money on Lake Ray Hubbard.

    I am very disappointed In this motel. I called and booked a room over the phone. I asked if I needed to pay now or later and the lady said that I could pay at the desk. I drive through most of the night get here at 2:00 in the morning with my family and found out somebody sold the room out from under me because they didn't have my credit card number.

    Only stayed here for 1 night. The location is great but the hotel/rooms were dirty and does not seem to be well kept. We were put into a room and 1. It didn't have a lock on the door. How is there no lock to lock it? 2. There were scratch marks all over the headboard. 3. There was no closet door. 4. The hall way was disgusting! Stains allll over the floor, Soo many marks on the walls. It felt muggy and stunk. The second room we went to after asking to switch, was a bit better. The halls were a bit better but the shower was disgusting, especially the shower head and floor. The walls by the bed, you could see the spray marks from "cleaning" weren't wiped. The lobby was dirty too and the breakfast was missing a lot of things. We stayed in a holiday inn a few months ago and it was kept way nicer. Not coming back here. This was not top Holiday Inn material

    This hotel is ok. It's close to restaurants and parking is free. The noise from the nearby freeway is always present. The furniture in our room was dirty and the chair was broken. Also the A/C did not work well. No housekeeping service was provided during our 2 night stay. Some of the lights in the lobby hallway flickered, a lot.

    I Booked a room 2 days ahead and still made it after 6 hrs of driving TO GET TO MY ROOM AND CLEARLY SOMEONE HAD TOOK A SHOWER IN THE ROOM SO CALLED TO FRONT DESK BOUT room being dirty so agreed to move me so walked down to desk mgt comes from back realizing Im African American so instantly changed with Attitude but charged me $484.00 for 3 days then put a $50 deposit in on me as well never complain paid it only to get moved in a room full of black mold I’m type 2 diabetes blood pressure fluid builds up plenty health problems but hey she black it’s cool floors dirty still are as we speak I asked for vacuum cleaner and was told I couldn’t use it because locked up but my money wasn’t locked up on top having clean the room when someone else got paid to clean rm but yet my money get took and I have to reclean it for free now if this isn’t racist I ain’t black and I know I’m fully African American the front fest guest services waa very rude I mgt holiday inn express in west Memphis Ark 5 yrs I’ve never seen a IHG HOTEL FULL OF BLACK MODE PHONE DOESNT EVEN WORK THE clean condition horrible but god has my back the same god you will need once I finish talking with Corporate and asking why they haven’t took this holiday inn sign down yet because this is a disgrace TO IHG AND Corporate And CEO THE shower head even had mold and ice buckets liners black mode but it’s cool got pics for my Dr as soon as I can’t breathe and why I’m still here my money tied up in the mess or I would’ve have been went else where 🤬😡😡😡😡🤬 Have the video of me cleaning the room after driving 6hrs I had clean is isane ……..
