Shower makes up for the room, and breakfast was great. However, for dinning purposes, someone can give a room number and no ones checks to validate, this could lead to fraud charges on someone room.

I've stayed at holiday inn hotels all over. Im a platinum ihg member and this place is ridiculous the first time I stayed the staff was very rude but I let it go. I just booked again and same thing the staff was very rude and not friendly. I told them I wanted to cancel they charged me and told me I could leave but I was still paying. I had my bank cancel the payment. 2 days later they charged me again. Now im gonna have to bring in my attorney. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere the people who work at this hotel need to learn how to treat people

Stayed one night. They charged me for two nights. When I reached out to corporate they said I had two reservations. I explained that I had one reservation and had canceled my original reservation but decided to rebook. When I canceled the original reservation, the confirmation page said I wouldn’t be charged yet when I got the bill, I was charged for two nights. No way I’d pay nearly $300 for this hotel. The view is nice but the staff and the amenities are nowhere near that price point. I’ll stay at Moody Gardens next time.
Update… wasted my time calling the GM. They were not there and the person that answered the phone told me to leave a message. I’ve already done that with corporate. Why waste another minute leaving a message with a company that will almost certainly not return the call. They’ve already proven that to me. This place is pure garbage. IHG used to be a brand you could trust. Not anymore.

The location was great, but the service was awful. The rooms were okay, but there were roaches. I just didn’t take a picture because I didn’t think it would matter (turns out it did). The amount they charged for their so called “service” was ridiculous.
My husband paid around $165 for one night, plus $15 for parking if you stay overnight. They also added an $8 “amenities” fee, which basically turned out to be just two small water bottles. When I went downstairs for coffee or cookies (which they said were available from 4 to 8), there was nothing there at 5 o’clock. I had to ask for it, which makes no sense , if I’m paying for it, it should be available.
And to top it off, they charged an extra $60 just for a beach view. Definitely not worth the price.

Nice hotel l Iocated across from the gulf. Our room had a balcony with beautiful views.
The hotel staff was mostly friendly. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge.
Large pool with separate kiddy pool and nice hot tub.
Hotel has a restaurant, bar, kids play area and mini movie theater on site.
The traffic from the streets makes the rooms a little noisy.
Several places to eat and shop in walking distance and is right across from gulf (though it's a pretty busy street you have to cross). Very nice stay, with the exception of an incident at Jiggers (separate review).
