- JRJenica Russell3 days ago5.0A week ago my two boys left on the Carnival Jubilee. It was so hard to see them go, and I spent 4 hours in the crowd on the Pier watching them leave the Port. The night before their arrival, I stayed at the Harbor House in a corner, King Size room with a Harbor view, and it was luxurious! I had a full view of the Port and their ships re-entry, which i took full advantage of as I couldnt sleep due to my excitement. The location is PERFECT for cruises as you can see the ships come snd go, and youre walking distance to the cruise terminal (Carnival).

This was the first time we met Travis and he made a great impression as well. Thanks for fixing our TV so quickly, Travis. Harbor House has a family-like atmosphere which is why we love staying here. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable and the extra amenities in the rooms are an added special touch. We will continue to stay here every time we sail out of Galveston and look forward to seeing Dee (and now Travis) every time!

We had a beautiful view of the harbor and enjoyed watching all the boat activity and especially the dolphins. To just be able to go downstairs and step outside to enjoy the harbor was wonderful! Dee consistently went the extra mile and provided warm, friendly customer service every day. I was incredibly impressed! The room was nice. Free breakfast only had simple offerings. Only downsides were that the walls are extremely thin and that place is LOUD. You can hear everyone and everything. It was hard to hear our own TV over the neighbor's. And they have no means of plugging in a fire stick or such for streaming so you are stuck with very few tv channel options if you're stuck inside. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely be back.
