  Canyon the employee was so amazing. Next time we come to Galveston. We are coming to this hotel. The employees are so amazing. The view is gorgeous. The rooms were clean.

  The ONLY thing I have to say could have been better was the bed could use an update. The mattress wasn't fantastic. However, the service at this hotel is excellent. I am so thankful to the staff here. I left a very sentimental item on accident before I boarded a cruise. They found it, held on to it, and shipped it home to me when I was finally able to call them again due to not having service. Everyone was very nice and so helpful. I am extremely grateful to the staff here. Our room itself was very nice. Plenty of room for our family, loved having a balcony room with ocean view, and the breakfast had plenty of options. I will absolutely stay here again my next trip to Galveston.

  I booked a room through a 3rd party site which was pre paid. After arriving at the hotel I was assigned room 111. The room had a very strong paint odor indicating a recent paint job was done on the room. I immediately started feeling light headed and a little nauseous , it later made my nose run and cause my eyes to water I had to take an allergy pill. I asked to be moved to another room but was denied by the front desk staff and owner. I asked to speak with the manager and he started being belligerent and demanded that I Leave his property since I wasn’t happy never once offered to swap my room. A lot of guests hadn’t arrived so rooms were available to swap he just chose to be rude and un compassionate and demand I leave even after I told him I would just keep the room. I would never stay at this place nor recommend anyone stay here. The place is showing signs of wear and tear the furniture needs updating, the property was clean but the nasty attitudes is unjustified. I had to find another hotel to spend the night and I had to pay for my parking for my 7 day cruise which Best Western provided to me for free for 7 days which inconvienced me.

  The rooms seem a bit dated but are very spacious and love that there’s no carpet! The beds were SMALL! not queen size like advertised, they are fulls. Very noisy from people just walking above us. Love the balcony and the location is wonderful. The staff were always friendly and the breakfast was very good for hotel breakfast.
