Smells from other rooms cooking was a bit overwhelming. Was not aware that "SUITES" meant a kitchenette situation. This is a long term "hotel" not really a one night stop. Room was clean, but I could smell cooking odors from the last people and then others started cooking in their rooms.

🕯️I stayed at Candlewood suites for the first time and it felt like a home away from home. It was a very comfortable suite. I was able to finish up my school work assignment utilizing the comfortable desk. I had a nice big comfortable king size bed all to myself. I had a kitchenette, and and accessible bathroom, which was convenient as well. I was also on the first floor. I had a full-size refrigerator, dishes, sink, microwave, mini burner stove, and all. There was a nice snack bar in the lobby with unlimited complimentary access to an automated coffee, tea, and hot water machine. I was also able to get a discount on my nights because I had IHG points so that was pretty cool. I decided to extend for an additional night and was able to stay in the same room. However, I just wish they would’ve told me that before I made plans to move all of my stuff out that I was going back to the same room. That way, I could’ve just relaxed and left my stuff in that same room when I left that morning for church service and return to the hotel. The hotel was well maintained, and the staff was customer friendly. I highly recommend staying at Candlewood suites when you’re traveling. It will not be my last time staying with them based on my first experience. Now I know that Holiday Inn isn’t the only way to go when it comes to IHG. Love, Light, Peace, Community, Care

I was just visiting family members of a friend of mine. They had a suite with a kitchen in it, it was very clean and efficient. The family joins a club every month to get good discounts on hotels, and she did a very good job for a week's stay from Arizona.

As I start this review, I ask any reader to understand this is the umpteen millionth hotel stay for us in the US or world and I never only post negative reviews. I am actually more of a positive review poster as I believe in lifting people up, but I firmly believe establishments also need to have feedback and an opportunity for improvement. We checked in on 12/22 on a personal visit to family for the holidays. On 12/24 at approximately 8:30 am requested for the room to be touched up, particularly for towels and making the bed. As the hotel site on Expedia lists daily housekeeping, we figured maybe it was a requested service and it had not been done the day before. We returned late on the 24th and room had not been serviced, but the window was opened, leaving the room extremely humid and uncomfortable. As we came back to the room on the 25th we asked for towels. The clerk asked us to bring the used ones down. In all my stays, I have never been asked to do this. I have been asked to put them outside the door for housekeeping to pick them up on rounds. As we were in this conversation, my partner asked if there was a way to check if the room had been serviced, and the clerk didn’t have a means to do that. He pulled a check sheet but didn’t see any info for our room. In today’s era of technology, I find it hard to understand why that is not part of our record in the room. I’d imagine there are programs or processes to follow updating the operations of a hotel are completed based on guest needs. Now, to add salt to this, the clerk then asked us when we checked in. We reported Monday. He then looked at a calendar and stated we wouldn’t have been scheduled for room service until Sunday because “we are a long stay hotel, not a regular”. We were scheduled to check out Saturday, meaning we were never getting a service. A best practice to consider is to treat each extended room stay differently based on the length. At minimum a half stay refresh makes sense. Ultimately, we left early as we felt our requests for care and support were dismissed.
