- CBCraig BreckheimerJan 4, 20265.0This is one of the best Army IHG hotels I have stayed at. The breakfast is sufficient but lacks options compared to other locations. The rooms are large and spacious with kitchenettes that are fully stocked. Any small negative thing is greatly over shadowed with staff and facility excellence. Nothing comes without a flaw and this hotel has very few flaws. The pool was closed for the season unfortunately so maybe they will get a hot tub for the winter months or for a good soak after a day of hard work. 😉 This place is located directly off the main road, there is a conference hall directly behind the hotel that has great buffet lunch Tuesday-Friday. There is an AAFES exchange a block away but the hours are less than ideal for those on the road traveling.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with everything you need for a comfortable long- or short-term stay, including a full kitchen. The staff is professional, friendly, and always willing to help, which makes you feel right at home. The location is very convenient, close to dining, shopping, and everything on post. The hotel is quiet, safe, and well-maintained, making it perfect for both families and Soldiers traveling for duty. Highly recommend this spot for anyone staying at Fort Bliss!

The one bedroom king suite provided living and privacy space. The IHG had a social dinner for the registered guests from 1730-1900. That was an added bonus. They offer this every Wednesday. The hot breakfast was actually decent. I must admit, I think this suite was one of the best I have stayed in in a very long time. If visiting Fort Bliss, definitely stay at the Candlewood Suites, if applicable. It has a lot of great amenities to include shuttle van service to and from the shopping and eateries center on post.
