  I would like to begin by acknowledging the excellent check-in experience we had with Jason; he was professional and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided during our stay. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the location; for those who prefer to be away from the noise and congestion of the city, this is a truly ideal spot. Unfortunately, the remainder of our experience in Room 207 was unacceptable. Upon entering, the room was filled with a repulsive, heavy odor of old sweat. The smell was specifically concentrated in the sheets and pillows, suggesting they had not been changed or laundered after the previous guest. As someone with a severe allergy to bleach/Clorox, I typically have to be cautious with hotel linens, but the smell of unwashed perspiration was so overwhelming that I was unable to sleep or even use the pillows. On our second morning, we requested a linen change. While the initial odor was gone, the "clean" sheets had a sour, damp smell, as if they had sat in the wash too long before drying. The towels were also in poor condition: two were yellowish, one had black streaks, and another had lipstick stains. When I mentioned the elevator's strong body odor to Jason at checkout, he dismissed it as an inevitable result of the local oil field and refinery workers. While we respect all guests’ professions, it is the hotel’s responsibility to maintain hygiene through consistent cleaning and air quality control, not to use the clientele as an excuse for poor sanitation. Furthermore, the staffing on day two was a concern. We observed a vendor and another guest wait at an empty front desk for nearly 30 minutes. The clerk eventually emerged from the laundry area, but leaving the desk unattended for that length of time is unprofessional. Finally, the only access road to the hotel is in a state of neglect. It is currently being used for unauthorized semi-truck maintenance (littered with tires and trash) and even an illegal campsite in the cul-de-sac. Navigating deep potholes and industrial debris made arriving feel unsafe. We truly appreciated the quiet location and Jason’s initial hospitality, but the severe lack of basic cleanliness and property oversight means we cannot recommend this location until management addresses these issues.

  The staff was very nice and welcoming. They have good breakfast at morning in b/n 7-10. The rooms were very clean . And the hallway and the area around the property was very quiet. Always the best choice …!

  Zero stars. They charged us after a canceled reservation. The customer service was a joke. This hotel is known for theft and terrible service all around. Best Western should shut down this location.
