- CFChristopher Favela1 day ago1.0Terrible Service and Zero Accountability I called ahead to make a reservation and specifically told the booking representative that I would be arriving late after a 10-hour drive. I was clearly told I would not be marked as a no-show. When I arrived at the hotel later that night, exhausted, the front desk agent was immediately rude and unprofessional. He informed me my reservation had been marked as a no-show anyway. I explained what the booking agent told me, but he argued with me and repeatedly said there was nothing he could do to help. After going back and forth, he finally said he would “make an exception” something that he doesn’t really do for anyone according to him; and give me a room — but only if I paid full price again. No refund for the no-show, no accommodation, no accountability. I ended up paying over $600 that day from the previous reservation to the new booking, just to sleep for a few hours in a room that was run-down and not worth the cost. This was an extremely frustrating experience after a long drive, and the lack of customer service or basic empathy was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were charged for the 2 day reservation even though we stayed for 4 nights. Management was very rude and unwilling to help refund charges. Will never stay at any Holiday Inn. 8 minutes cost us $400!

As a rewards member and someone that’s dedicated to Holiday inn I am extremely disappointed by their employee they hired and did not screen before hiring. Family and I drove from dallas to El Paso with 3 kids and our reservation got canceled. The guy working there was so rude that the conversation got intense and he decided he didn’t want to help us out anymore not even as a walk-in which I offered if pay again. Every excuse I had he repeated “check in is at 3 goodbye”. I have never felt so disrespected before and the feeling to not have a safe place to enter after 12 hours of driving was unacceptable. After getting on phone with reservation they asked me to go back in and try to work it out and by that time the gentleman had locked us out and would not open the door. We will not be supporting holiday inn anymore and we will not stop at this review we will boycott and drive customers away from Holiday inn from now on unfortunately unless they can prove that this employee has resigned for driving away future clients as a business owner I wouldn’t allow this to happen at my establishment!
