What even is this hotel? This place was up there with the Detroit Motor Lodge for worst place I’ve ever spent the night. Don’t be fooled by the lobby or pictures of the lobby, it is not representative of the rooms that are inexplicably in other buildings. You are given your room, and the building, and then you get a map with a highlighted route to find your building and room like you’re at a campground. Trusty map in hand, you will wheel your suitcases back to your car (because the rooms are not even in the same building as the lobby), then you find a parking space hopefully near your building, then you go walk through a dark parking lot and find the dark gate that leads to your dark building. If you have more than one suitcase, you should just sleep in your car. Ignore the beeping camera with a red flashing light that is just sitting in a tree in the parking lot that most assuredly is not part of the hotel’s security system, provided it even has one. You’ll finally arrive at your building and room and discover that it is disgusting; stained carpet, stained furniture, and one of the smallest and dingiest bathrooms you will ever see in a “3-Star” hotel. Oh, and surprise - the room is a connected room to the (presumably gross) room beside you. Don’t worry, though - the small aluminum exterior deadbolt lock will certainly be enough for you to feel safe and secure so that you can get a good night’s sleep in the ancient bed. Just make sure you set an alarm, because your room will be pitch black in the morning because you can’t even open the curtains for the tiny prison window in your room unless you’re ok with everyone just seeing right into your room while you sleep. Not even having some sheer curtains so you could at least let some light in is certainly a choice. Maybe for the best, though, I’m sure the room looks even more gross in the cold light of day. Would never stay at this place again, it’s bizarre, creepy, and gross. Like, legit disgusting. Don’t stay here. Holiday Inn should be ashamed to have its name associated with this place.

The layout is confusing, even with the map I was given at check-in. And the parking lot was pretty dark at night. The night attendant (Jasmine?) was friendly and helpful. The room was ... worn. The bed was comfortable, but the floor was stained all over, the door shut weird and was hard to lock, the tub seemed worn out, etc. But the thermostat worked great and maintained a comfortable temp even with warm days and chilly nights. Overall, the room was disappointing for a Holiday Inn.

Shannon (Kitchen) and Priscilla (Bar) were absolutely amazing! They not only provided the best service to me, BUT I saw how they treated every single customer. I’m actually going to stay here the next time I’m in town JUST because of those two amazing employees. Please make sure they receive the kudos they deserve because customer service has fallen off since COVID but these two are refreshing.

I had a truly disappointing experience at this hotel. The night attendant was exceptionally rude and had a horrible attitude, which made the check-in process very unpleasant. To make matters worse, he lied about the incidental charge, adding an extra amount that was never disclosed or justified. This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Overall, the experience was extremely unpleasant, and I would caution anyone considering staying here.
