The location was excellent—close to family we were visiting, yet far enough from the city’s bustle to feel peaceful, with convenient access to shopping and restaurants. Traveling with a dog, we appreciated being placed in a ground‑floor room with easy access to the designated pet area. The fact that the pet area had grass was a huge benefit in a dry city, making it much easier for our dog. The room was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. The bathroom was modern, with good water pressure in the shower. Customer service was a standout: when we called late in the day to confirm availability and pet‑friendly accommodations, the front desk associate promptly answered, remembered our call when we arrived, and expedited check‑in. She suggested the ground‑floor room for convenience and remained consistently friendly, professional, and efficient—even when we extended our stay. Her service truly elevated the experience. Overall, this property provided a welcoming environment, thoughtful amenities, and excellent customer service. It will definitely be our go‑to choice when visiting family in El Paso again.

However I had no issues while staying there everything was good staff and all . So I come to rent a room on my own just for a get away and their front counter clerk makes a mistake of charging my card for incensentals rather then the entire room which keep in mind not my mistake now these individuals are trying to say im no longer able to rent a room even as an IHG member this is the word supposed from management? However the individual whom made the mistake as well as management expected me to pay and fix HER mistake which wasn't resolved for a week or two back to my card I don't work for Candlewood this individual does that is in house situation not mine so I would recommend checking your debit/credit prior to taken your room key ! I am in process of going with IHG corporate and lawsuit

- OLO LAug 2, 20251.0I came back to the hotel and found my room had been emptied. My checkout was the next day. Apparently, their "system" had thought I was checking out early. So, while the front desk staff was very helpful retreieving my items, I can't recommend this hotel.
