Unfortunately, today, on my trip back to Louisiana, the front desk employee was rude about our dogs. Even with a "pet friendly sign" at the front desk. Throughout the years, we've had great front desk employees check us in be so sweet about our dogs. Tonight, the front desk employee mentioned, "dogs shouldn't be allowed" as a brush off remark while I signed the pet form. I hope we don't see that front desk employee in the future. We really enjoy staying here.

Unfortunately, on November 29th, a snowstorm sweeping across the Midwest caused my flight to be delayed to the following day. Despite the circumstances being completely out of my control, the hotel refused to issue a refund. I had hoped to continue giving this hotel my business for all my trips, but their unwillingness to accommodate a clearly weather-related delay has made me reconsider. Losing a loyal, frequent guest over a single, unavoidable situation is disappointing, and it will influence my lodging choices going forward.
