Use your money elsewhere. This hotel stay was very disappointing. We booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub. The pool was small with various broken tiles, dirty and unkempt outdoor area. The hot tub we were told was working, then after check in, it wasn’t. We had asked for 5 towels for the pool as my husband and myself were visiting our son and his friend, so we had them over to swim. Those towels are tiny, so I wanted an extra, they refused and had a horrible attitude telling us we’ve already gotten more towels than we are allowed per room, even though they never asked my room number. We booked a king room, and immediately upon check in we began noticing broken furniture, dirty air vents, gaps along the door, and found black mold and peeling wall paper. The hotel supervisor I spoke with regarding my concerns did not care at all about the condition of the room. We booked 3rd party so she told me I’d have to contact them to get a refund, she said she could only make me a rewards member and offer me points for a future stay. When I contacted the 3rd party, they contacted the hotel and this woman lied and said we had 5 people sleeping in the room. A room with a single king bed. All because we asked for 5 towels and brought up legitimate health concerns about the room and safety concerns about the pool and hotel access. The external doors from the courtyard don’t lock, and the wall surrounding the courtyard is roughly 4 foot tall. Easy to access if someone wanted to.
So basically- no security, health risks, mold, rude staff that lie. It’s a rundown hotel with some lipstick on it to make it appear nice at your first impression. And if you bring up concerns, you’ll be dismissed.

We entered a softball tournament in El Paso, and needed a place to stay for most of the team. I booked the Best Western Plus El Paso by myself in advance for a great rate, then, my friends booked their rooms together as a group and got an even better rate.
I checked in on a Friday afternoon, and was greeted by a professional, friendly front desk lady, who had me checked in, in no time. I had several questions that she answered for me, and I was on my way to my room.
The location of the hotel was right off the I-10, which had me thinking there would be a lot of traffic noise, and vagrants hanging out, but that was not the case. The parking lot was clean and safe, the front entrance clean, and traffic noise was unnoticeable.
I stopped down by the pool area to meet my buddies and their wives and kids – The pool area was clean, plenty of chairs, and family friendly. If you are going to be in the pool area, take cups or aluminum cans/bottles, as you don’t want to be that person to break a glass, and wreck everyone’s fun….
The room was CLEAN, spacious, and everything I needed for a 3 day stay. I had a coffee machine, and a mini fridge that kept my beverages cool. The TV was a perfect size to lie in bed and watch at night, and the bed was super comfortable, along with the pillows. There were plenty of outlets to charge my phone and IPad. The AC blew cold air, the shower was awesome, and there was plenty of lighting in the room.
The field was about 15 minutes from the hotel, so the location was perfect for our team. We would all meet in the breakfast area, enjoy a great HOT breakfast buffet, and then would head out to play. I have seen some previous reviews of the breakfast not being hot, not a lot of variety, not a lot left, etc. which was never the case while we were there. The breakfast was hot, plenty to choose from, along with orange juice, apple juice, milk and coffee. I guess you can’t make everyone happy all the time.
All in all, I give the Best Western Plus El Paso a 5 star rating, and will tell others of this hotel for softball tournament accommodations. The location, the rooms, and the breakfast, all make this a great place to stay.
Headline: Major Maintenance and Housekeeping Failures - Unacceptable Experience
SAME RESPONCES TO REVIEWERS FOR YEARS. SAME "WE'RE SORRY" RESPONSE.PLACE NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT,THAT WOMAN NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!! SHE IS CARELESS AND THEY DONT USE VACUUMS.
I am currently staying at this property and am beyond frustrated. I’ve been here for 3 days and my room has not been cleaned once. Despite multiple calls to the front desk, the trash was finally emptied but the bed was never made and the room was never actually cleaned. To make matters worse, the water in my room is clogged and coming out brown.
On top of the room issues, the amenities are in disrepair. The hot tub is stone cold—colder than the pool. Maintenance mentioned they’ve been waiting 3 weeks for a part, yet the hotel continues to advertise a "hot" tub. Management has been unresponsive to my requests for a clean, functional room. I would not recommend staying here until they address these basic sanitary and maintenance standards.

The hotel overall is nice, cool was clean. Hot tub wasn’t really a hot tub it was more room temperature. Breakfast was good. However upon arrival it does say check in is at 3pm however we were told no rooms were cleaned and they only had two staff. However we watched the same house keepers talk the whole entire time. The waiting room was full of unhappy customers. We didn’t check in until almost 6 o'clock. Poor front desk girl took all of the heat from everyone, no manger was in office. I truly did feel bad, the front also didn’t tell us about breakfast vouchers. First night I was not charged 100$ then all of a sudden when I went to check in for my second reservation that was due before I could check in. When I looked at the front desk man he just looked at me An asked “so nobody took one from you”? I truly feel like if you’re running an establishment things like this should be under control. Nobody wants all these inconveniences when they are on vacation.

To be honest, I thought this hotel was going to be great and that we would get some rest—but no, there was absolutely no rest to be had. We stayed in Room 230 from February 28 to March 8, 2026. To begin with, the room doors sat an inch above the floor; consequently, all the noise from outside sounded as if it were coming from inside the room itself. Furthermore, the air conditioning unit made a very loud and unpleasant noise that kept us from sleeping. Additionally, housekeeping service was performed only twice during our entire stay. One morning, I went to the front desk to request that they please come and clean the room—as it hadn't been done in three days—but I was told that they were short-staffed and that cleaning likely wouldn't happen. They told me they would bring towels, shampoo, toilet paper, and trash bags to the room; however, when I returned that evening, the room was exactly as I had left it, and none of the supplies they had promised to deliver were there. Frankly, this is not a cheap hotel—certainly not cheap enough to justify the poor condition of the rooms. Since a daily fee is charged, daily housekeeping and replenishment of supplies should be provided as a standard service.
Also, upon entering the hotel through the back entrance, the hallways smelled of marijuana—specifically the kind being smoked in the rooms, with the smoke seeping out from under the doors. It was a very bad experience.
