  I booked a room just to have an outing with the grandkids for Halloween. My youngest left her tablet. I know exactly where it got left in the bed. I called hotel multiple times only to be told it was not found but I know that it was left on that bed. Other than that our stay was enjoyable.

  We had king suite, the fold out bed had super thin wiery mattress if you could call a mattress. Not very warm and welcoming either.

  From when I walked in and was greeted genuinely and enthusiastically by Orin to my exceptionally clean and comfortable room where I was able to rest and relax, I knew I had made a great choice. Absolutely would recommend Holiday Inn Express in Duncanville!

  So here I am again Writing a bad review in regards to a specific employee name DD on an incident that happened on 10/21/25 at 930 pm. I wrote a review the day after the incident happened, but apparently the hotel decided to remove it so that they can keep their ratings up so I’m going to write the same thing again and will continue until there is some Resolution. So first off I wanna say I had stayed at the hotel for a total of three nights the second night around 9:30 PM. I was approaching the front desk. There was a gentleman and a lady that were both sitting there at the front desk neither one of them acknowledged me or anything that I needed. So I proceeded to go ahead and tell the lady at the front desk that I needed my two keys reset because they were locked and will not open my door, She then looks at me and rudely says she’s off the clock and she’s not working. So my initial reaction is, if you’re not on the clock working then what are you doing at the front desk like you are. She then starts getting loud saying because I can and because I want to. So then, if that’s an argument from there with us going back back-and-forth and me asking for her manager information, She then started yelling about where his information is and saying she’s going to call him as well this and that So I ended up going to my room about 10 minutes later after I get my keys. Well, I end up stepping out about 15 minutes later to get her name because I did not get that information Initially, and All of a sudden, she’s in the back office and not at the front desk so I asked the gentleman what her name is instead of him telling me he then proceeded to be confrontational with her, calling her from the office telling her that I want her name. So she comes out yelling well, what’s your name? What’s your name? I’m gonna have you kicked out. We start arguing again. She proceeds to come around the front desk and follow me down the hall to my room. Trying to fight me. Meanwhile, she had the nerve To call me ghetto when she was the one acting ghetto in the front lobby at almost 10 o’clock at night by this time. Threatening to Kick me and my kids out. Long story short I did talk to the manager the next day. And he did confirm that sometimes employees hang out over there even if they’re not on the clock with my reaction is if you have extra employees just hanging around because they don’t have nothing better to do then something is wrong with Management. Another thing is the location of the hotel is convenient since it is off of the highway, but the bigger issue is in Duncanville, This is not known as a nice part of Dallas, but when you have employees acting the way, then the location is what you make of it.
