  Misadvertised. Pool heater is broken. Shouldn't charge full price without all amenities. Housekeepers not thorough. Tub drain doesn't work. So maintenance overall is very mediocre. Right on busy hwy.

  A stay here, well worth it is. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dripping Springs - Austin Area delivers a clean, comfortable experience that feels either brand new or recently refreshed. From the moment you walk in, that “well-kept and cared for” vibe is strong with this one. Rooms? Spacious and spotless. Beds and pillows? Exceptionally comfortable—rest well, you will. The pool area is inviting, and the workout room is solid for keeping your routine on track while traveling. Everything feels thoughtfully maintained, not just functional. Breakfast, included it is—the classic HIE spread to start your day right. And 24-hour coffee and tea? Always ready when you are. Location adds to the value. A nearby plaza offers several good food options, and there are even more spots just a short drive away—convenience, you have. Would I return? Without hesitation. If you're passing through Dripping Springs and looking for a reliable, comfortable stay—found it, you have.

  We had such a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Express! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special — they were incredibly kind and accommodating, even letting our family use the lobby to watch the Oscars together, which meant so much to us. One staff member in particular was so patient and sweet with our toddler, who loved running around and stopping by to say hi over and over. She handled it with such warmth and kindness, which we truly appreciated. It’s not every day you come across hospitality like this. We left feeling so welcomed and cared for — highly recommend! (One note: This hotel doesn't have ANY suites, despite the name. None on the premises at all.)

  Jonni and Michelle make this the best Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at! I travel frequently for work and have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express properties across the country – this Dripping Springs location is my absolute favorite. Jonni at the front desk is always smiling, incredibly attentive, and always goes out of her way to make sure I have everything I need. Michelle in the kitchen prepares a fantastic free breakfast every morning with fresh ground coffee. The location is perfect – beautiful area close to Austin with great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

  Stayed for 1 night. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Cold AC Standard Continental breakfast: eggs, sausage patty, bacon, potatoes, pancake maker, coffee, ok, cinnamon rolls, fruit, cereal. Queen bed suite with fold out couch was great!
