- LZLupe Zermeno3 days ago1.0We booked a room for a wedding in late March nearly 3 months in advance at a rate of $201/night. After we booked, almost immediately, our reservation was cancelled. We attempted to rebook and when we refreshed our screens, the new rate was $303/night (mind you, this was literally a few minutes after we booked initially). We called Embassy and they confirmed $303-306/night was the going rate. We looked at other hotels and decided we still liked the embassy due to its location to the wedding so we booked at the $304/night rate a week later. 3 hours after our reservation was completed, we received a call and email that our reservation had been cancelled (with no explanation). We called customer service and we were told this probably happened because the rates were not current. We logged back in (mind you, this is 3 hours after we received our confirmation) and the rate was $364/night. While we were on the phone with customer service, they told us the current rate was $382/night!! I asked why this was happening and if they were just jacking up the price and was literally told “you know how it is; when people start booking they keep increasing the price.” There was no offer to honor it. Photos in the comments for proof. Absolutely dishonest pricing and unethical business practices.

The breakfast buffet was good. The omelettes were on point as is the standard for Embassy hotels. Room service was through Houlihans and came to our room and delicious. Plenty of parking and has a small shop with coffee and snacks .
