My first experience booking directly through IHG will also be my last. I reserved a King Suite on the 25th for a stay on the 28th and even paid for the upgrade through the app. Upon arrival, I was told that my upgraded room had been given to another guest because the hotel had oversold. I received no communication about this beforehand and was simply told I would be charged the original room rate instead.
At checkout, the front desk clerk casually told me to call a manager to resolve the issue—completely unprofessional. No apology, no compensation, no extra points—nothing. I remained calm and polite, but it seems that only someone making a scene would have been taken seriously. Even worse, the room’s TVs were outdated and displayed the UHD error.
Overall, this was a terrible experience, and IHG has lost my business. I booked directly through their platform and still got treated like an afterthought. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for better service and reliability.

I stayed at this hotel for an event with some friends and I had wonderful customer service. I had no problems with this establishment at all .Jonathan was working the front desk and he could not have been nicer. He's got wonderful customer service experience and he was so nice to my family and i. I had a wonderful experience. Ivan stayed an extra night because he was so wonderful and the weather was bad so I ended up staying an extra night.

I came to this Hotel to rest and enjoy my family away from Home and found Administrative Personnel yelling and arguing with their Staff Members in the middle of the Breakfast Time.
I booked a couple of days and initially the Hotel was great, the front desk staff was very pleasant upon arrival, our room was clean and very well decorated and breakfast was delicious until our 2nd morning. Everything was going great until the General Manager Sheila Daniels decided it was prudent to hold a staff meeting in the middle of breakfast serving on a Sunday Morning and things got heated and escalated between herself and the rest of the employees. There was yelling, arguing, allegedly there was a physical altercation and lots of screaming instead of conversations. I couldn’t believe my ears, the way she, a General Manager was addressing her personnel, condescending and threatening. The meeting was inside the conference room and doors were closed, but it was so intense and loud that guests were paralyzed not knowing what to do, to eat breakfast or leave this unpleasant atmosphere.
The front desk staff was attending the meeting so there was no one to talk to about intervening and handling the situation. So I stepped into the room and kindly asked if they could conduct their meeting professionally and allow guests to enjoy their stay and breakfast.
At some point Sheila approached me and asked what was my name and what room I was staying in as she wanted to personally talk to me. To what I replied that I had nothing to converse with her about. After feeling threatened, I expressed my concerns to Hotels.com (Expedia) and requested a full refund of my stay. This experience and exchange of words with Mrs. Daniels was an intimidation tactic. Hotels.com attempted to contact the Hotel unsuccessfully, offered me a minuscule credit and referred me to the refund policy. Indicating it was up to the Hotel Management… to refund my entire stay, to what I refuse and demanded a full refund, she ruined our stay with her poor administrative decisions and came between the Breakfast Staff and I when I was asking for a spoon, as to prevent any conversations between the employee and me. The GM kept repeating the Breakfast Service is over. All I needed was a spoon…
Guests were leaving the Breakfast Area as it felt unsafe and uncomfortable. They also wrote reviews about this incident, read them and stay anywhere else but here. I will not support employees being verbally harassed and abused.
