We are on HWY 54 East with easy access to everything in the greater Dalhart area. Hilmar Cheese Co. and JBS are only five miles away. Breakfast and WiFi are on us. Enjoy our onsite bar, indoor pool and fully equipped fitness center. Our meeting room can accommodate up to 60 guests.

This is a decent place to stay only if you have very low expectations for customer service. We arrived late in the evening and were made to wait an unreasonably long time to check in, despite the front desk agent clearly seeing us. The attitude throughout the interaction was dismissive and unprofessional.
Breakfast was also very disappointing. You are better off skipping it entirely and picking up donuts from a nearby gas station.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Hampton Inn in Dalhart due entirely to the front desk service.
We arrived to check in on Saturday, December 20th around 10 pm and were clearly seen by the front desk staff upon arrival. Despite this, we were left waiting for an extended period of time without any acknowledgment or explanation. When we were finally assisted, the front desk attendant was rude, dismissive, and had a very poor attitude.
There was no apology for the wait, no sense of urgency, and no basic level of hospitality. Being tired travelers arriving late in the evening, this was especially frustrating and unwelcoming.
Hampton Inn is usually known for friendly and professional service, but this experience fell far short of that expectation. Front desk staff set the tone for a hotel stay, and unfortunately this interaction left a very negative impression.
I hope management addresses this, as basic courtesy and customer service should be a given.

Staff were friendly and courteous. Shout out to Pam at the front desk. Room was clean & well appointed. Our suite had a walk in shower for those of us with physical disabilities. Highly recommend.

My wife and I hit a deer traveling back to Colorado Springs late at night. By some miracle we were taken to the Hampton Inn after the nightmare we experienced through our car rental company. It was 3am and we didn’t feel comfortable getting a room we’d only be in for a few hours, the staff let us sit in the lobby/dinner/bar from 3am until we were picked up at 11am. They didn’t have to help us, they went above and beyond and even offered us breakfast. Pam is an absolute angel and she turned our whole morning around with her kind words and understanding. We felt blessed to have crossed paths with such kind people and any time we come through again, we WILL NOT drive at night (thanks to the deers haha) instead we will come visit every chance we can get. Sincerely and deeply thank you from the bottom of my heart, if the world was filled with people like Pam, we’d all be better off.

After a long drive, it was such a pleasure to be greeted and checked in by Ameris. Smiling, joking, friendly, and very helpful. This Hampton Inn is the first one I've visited that has a bar and a food menu. The bar was tended by Vanessa, who chatted up the other patrons and us. Very energetic, accommodating, and like Ameris, very friendly. The breakfast was great too. Lots of healthy choices and things like recyclable plates and bowls. Way to go Hampton Inn! Finally, whoever their landscaper is should get a raise. In the middle of November, even after near or below freezing temperatures a couple of weeks earlier, the flowers were unbelievable!
