Stayed here during a recent work trip. The location is fantastic. Easy in and out and you can get anywhere in town in just a few minutes. I didn't mind the train horn, but if you think you will, they have ear plugs at the front desk.
Gabriel (if I recall correctly) checked me in and was super friendly!! Easy check in process.
I was staying in a bottom floor room in the corner behind the stairs. At first I wasn't crazy about it but I came to love it because it was super private and I didn't have tons of light coming in which was good for me because I went to bed early and got up for work between 3:30/4am.
The room itself was clean and comfortable. I really liked the layout and the closet space. The mini fridge and microwave worked great, the shower always had hot water and excellent water pressure, the air was nice and cool when I needed it and the heater worked great on a chilly night, and the TV had a great channel selection and the ability to connect streaming apps.
The hotel itself is pretty dated but it wasn't awful. The parking lot was great for me, but I could see it being challenging for people with trailers.
I was only able to make it to breakfast twice but I loved the cute little Texas waffle station, delicious mini everything bagels, yogurt and pudding cups for a little sweet treat. The choices were much better than some I've stayed at!
If you want a quality stay for a reasonable rate, free breakfast and Wi-Fi in a convenient location, this Best Western is a solid choice. The staff were all friendly and the grounds clean.
There's also a washer and dryer on site if needed (I didn't use it so I can't comment on it) and an ice machine.

This is a great hotel with clean comfortable rooms. Unlike the hotel I stayed in last night the day inn in alva ok. This room at the best western had fancy features like several large towels, cups in the room, wash clothes and chairs that weren't broken. Enjoyed my stay here.

Pleasantly surprised! Appears this has been recently remodeled. Room and bathroom were clean with newer-looking furnishings. The breakfast was filling. Had eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, potatoes, a waffle maker, assorted breads, pastries and oatmeal. Had coffee, juices and 3 types of milk. A personal plus was they had sugar free syrup for my diabetic husband.
The only drawback were the trains blowing their horns throughout the night. Other than that we will definitely be staying here again if we’re in the area.
Very clean in & out, tastefully decorated & good customer service folks that appreciate your business! After 20+ years of staying here, I say it has gotten progressively even better each time I visit!
Gabriel, from the front desk, explicitly violated the ADA in regard to service animals, harassing me outside my room in front of other guests, telling me my disability isn't even real and accusing me of lying. Gabriel said that psychiatric disabilities are just "emotional", that service dogs can only go in certain rooms, and that they should be disclosed at check-in. I tried explaining that ALL of this violates the ADA, but he said he's comfortable being sued or fired over it.
Gabriel's unprofessionalism and lack of education made my stay a bit unpleasant. I was in my room on a work call, and during that time, he called my room twice, messaged me (which I responded to), and then showed up knocking and yelling at my door until | answered. Totally unacceptable behavior. During check-in, he was also talking on the phone to his mom about eating corn dogs after work, which! simply noted as odd at the time, but in hindsight, it's just more evidence of his severe lack of professionalism.
