  Joe receptionist was very rude and so unprofessional. I was treated very badly eventhough I am a Diamond member with over 7yrs of stays at this Chain. I am very dissapointed and makes me Sad Joe is a mean person. I wish him the best in life and I hope manager give him a pay increase. Rooms smell really bad, service by Joe is just horrible and God knows I only write reviews to help others to stay away from this Holiday Inn. Dont stay here and use your business somewhere else.

  It was very clean throughout the whole hotel, I would definitely be coming back. And the place is located is the best part right In the middle of everything in corpus.

  Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corpus Christi by IHG For some reason the place smells. Smells like BO. Need some cleaning. The washer and dryer are card only. About $3 each. Highly Recommended.

  The bed was very comfortable thing, it was bad about it found a cup of hair in it. Then the restaurant was good except for the tub. The caulking around the tub needs to be replaced has a pool inside\n Could need a little loving tension. Silly. were falling down down, had to be careful when you walk into the pool area from the steps going in the water For some reason, it was very separate.

  I reserved this room for Spring Break, for my wife, our daughter, her friend and her two kids. NO WHERE during the reservation process did it say ANYTHING about my wife needing to have an authorization form (and she has worked for IHG multiple times). Upon their arrival the front desk man proceeded to tell her that she had to have my ID, and credit card and an authorization form. There was also no sign until AFTER he said this to her. She politely asked if she could get this information after they all got checked in (after driving for over 8 hours), he told her no and they had to wait in the lobby for an hour. After they FINALLY got the keys, they went up to the 3rd floor, after getting off the elevator and on the floor, she said the whole 3rd floor had a smell of must, mold and mildew. The floors in the hallway where gooey feeling, the room was musty and had a mildew smell, and the floor was sticky, stained up and not clean. There were signs all over of this property being a non-smoking property. However most every night there where people in the parking lot smoking marijuana. Friday night they got back and there were several people in the parking lot having a party. Two of the comforters we had was torn up. The hot tub was broken and dirty, no sign in the pool area of this hot tub being broken and kids were getting in and out. This is not safe and should be addressed!! The A/C also seemed to not work very well. We have stayed in MANY IHG properties, and never have we had this experience. We will never stay at this property again!
