2STARS Immaculate views, but no balcony NO BALCONY. RUDE STAFF
We requested a late checkout. Here’s a picture of me just looking at our view not able to reach it. We Did not receive it late check out As well as as when a lady was coming in to do the room checks, she knocked on the door three times. We yelled multiple times stating that we were inside. The lady proceeded to walk inside without any care. And she proceeded to shut the door when she said she seen shoes. Then we receive a phone call so there wasn’t a pressing matter when we went to check out. They act like they’re top dollar, but in reality their bathrooms are in shambles. You can’t go on the balcony. It’s a simple room ; nothing crazy. VERY, VERY ARROGANT AND RUDE STAFF. PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY SPECIFICALLY. STATED THAT THEY HAVE ALL AUTHORITY TO WALK INTO ROOMS AT ANY TIME. I WOULDN’T THINK THAT MY STUFF WOULD BE SAFE IF THAT’S THE CASE.

First, when you book they don’t tell you about the hidden $100 per room fees and $17 per day parking fees until after you’ve booked. Then afterwards they text you informing you of the fess. Second if you’re a pastor with kids, you can make all the noise you want as I was next to one and when I reported it the clerk responded with “oh, we can’t disturb the the pastor”. I’m like “WHAT”??? Third, they have maintenance crews that work late night. I couldn’t sleep most of the night. The absolute worst hotel I EVER stayed in. NEVER AGAIN. Avoid the place at all costs oh, unless you’re a pastor with kids.

I would not recommend this hotel. It was more like a motel than a hotel.
1st: paid extra for a balcony and AFTER our non refundable room was paid for, they tell us we can't use the balcony. 2nd: $18 to pay for 1 night of parking in their garage or you can park by the beach for free or use the public parking but its only free from 6pm to 8am.
3rd: the room was small, outdated and windows were dirty so you didnt even have a good view of the bay. There was an awful noise all night. The bathroom was so small my 6ft husband had issues. There usually is dove care in the shower, this one DOES NOT. Mini travel size is what you get.
4th: the pool was horrible. It was not maintained. The flooring around the pool was all messed up underneath so it made it difficult to walk. There was at least 1ft of water missing so the pool was not being filtered at all. It was advertised as heated and it was not warm.
5th: breakfast is NOT included with a more expensive room. (Most holiday inns breakfast is included)
There was some nice things. I loved how I didn't have to walk by the front desk in my bathing suit. The pool/outside area was on 3rd floor so cool views of the bay. The pool was indoor/outdoor via a walk thru in the pool. Walking distance to restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The level of disrepair in our room was shocking. Stapled together wall paper, broken chair and desk with missing hardware, rusted bathroom door hinges that were painted over to try to hide it, and we could write our names in the dust on the microwave stand. The bathroom hadn't had any meaningful maintenance most likely since it was built decades ago. The patio doors are screwed shut because of the level of disrepair on the balconies. Our balcony had a railing that was not completely attached, and the floor of the balcony had crumbled to the point of the rebar sticking out in a 1 foot section. Im truly amazed this building passes any type of inspection.
The dark haired man who attends the breakfast is a rude jerk. It became a joke with our group with the same conversation every morning. "Can I get you something to drink?" You make a request, and then I points to the buffet and says "its over there" and walks away. Hes basically just a delivery system for the check for a breakfast that is mediocre at best.
This hotel has a cute little bar area and coffee shop. Then as you get to the rooms, you realize the lobby is just lipstick on a pig. Google the Omni on Shoreline Boulevard and stay there. Its a quick 5 minute walk from this flea market of a hotel.

My recent stay at Holiday Inn was absolutely outstanding and exceeded expectations in every way.
The location couldn’t have been better—perfectly situated with easy access to nearby attractions, dining, and entertainment. Everything I needed was just minutes away, making my stay both convenient and stress-free. Whether heading out during the day or returning in the evening, the hotel’s placement made it all effortless.
Parking was just as impressive. It was spacious, सुरक्षित, and incredibly easy to navigate, which made coming and going a breeze. Having reliable, well-lit parking added an extra level of comfort and peace of mind throughout my stay.
The rooms were exceptional—spotlessly clean, modern, and designed with comfort in mind. The bed was plush and inviting, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind. It truly felt like a home away from home, with every detail carefully thought out.
What truly set this stay apart, though, was the breathtaking view overlooking the bay. Waking up to the peaceful water and watching the sunset reflect across it in the evening was simply unforgettable. It added a level of serenity and beauty that elevated the entire experience.
All in all, Holiday Inn delivered an incredible stay with its prime location, hassle-free parking, high-quality rooms, and stunning bay views. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a memorable experience.
