I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. During my stay, I discovered there were bugs in the room, and I was actually bitten multiple times, which made the entire stay uncomfortable. What made things worse was how the situation was handled. I brought the issue to the staff’s attention, expecting some level of accountability or at least a willingness to make things right. Unfortunately, they were dismissive and refused to offer any kind of refund or compensation. Cleanliness and customer service are basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and this place failed on both.

BEWARE EXTRA FEES - they claim to be “pet friendly” but they charge an extra $40 per pet per night due at check in. PLUS a refundable $75 pet deposit. Absolutely despicable and deceptive, the listing only says “pet fees may apply” in the fine print. They should include all fees when booking the stay! The room was spacious and comfortable but the cooktop in the kitchenette was not hot enough to boil even a small pot of water.

This hôtel does not refund your $75.00 as noted on check out. I would not recommend this hôtel. Poor customer service.

We have a kitchenette in our room. Didn’t sleep well at all. I asked my kids to bring a plate for me while I tried to get an extra attempt at some sleep. My kids we hounded around by an employed, forced to throw food away that they were bringing me into my room that had a kitchenette. Employed claiming no food in the room because you get bugs. I had room 309, it has a kitchenette with food. I also had pizza delivered the day before. We have snack for our drive in the cabinets of the kitchenette. We have other snacks in the fridge of the kitchenette. Also had papa John’s delivery a small pizza to the front door right before they closed last night and the front door manager of the hotel did not hound me or make me throw my pizza away when he let the delivery driver in. If you have a kitchenette you likely have food. Nancy was very rude, was racial profiling and assuming all kids are bad kids. Nancy did not interact with any other person during this time only my Children and my children who were of mixed color. My oldest who was very shaken up told me how she treated them. I would not stay here if you want a restful sleep. Unfortunately no restful sleep either. The light from the a/c would not turn off on the wall temperature control nor would the a/c work at all. We got in late, turn the a/c, unpacked, laid down hoping the room would cool off once the a/c finally kicked in. It was 3am and still not working. The fam was blowing and it was about 75° not terrible but not the usual cooler temperature for my sleeping preference. I really didn’t want to pack up move to another room when we were going to be up soon about 7am anyways. My mistake by not saying something sooner about the A/C. We were given 3 towels in our room for 4 people. I prefer not use someone else towels to dry off. Shortly after checking in I requested additional towels for our room. It was a problem with so much pushback just to get extra towels for my family. Do not stay here.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my daughter, and this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had. The issues started right away. The TV remote either didn’t work or worked extremely slowly, and I had to go down to the front desk to get a replacement. We were also only given 2 towels for our entire stay, and when I went to request more, staff were rarely at the front desk. When I finally did get help, they wrote down my information as if I was going to be charged just to get additional towels, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. The most unacceptable part of this stay, however, was how we were treated during breakfast. Around 7am, my daughter and I briefly stopped by to look at the breakfast options before heading out to watch the sunrise at the nearby beach. We were not trying to eat at that moment—just quickly checking to see if we wanted to come back or go elsewhere. At that point, an Indian woman with glasses approached us and said, “excuse me, this is only for our guests.” That comment was completely inappropriate and unnecessary. We were clearly staying at the hotel, and there was no reason to assume otherwise. The way it was said made me feel singled out and unwelcome. My teenage daughter was embarrassed and thought we had not payed for breakfast or something which made the situation even worse. That interaction alone ruined the entire experience for me. Customer service matters, and no guest should be made to feel uncomfortable or questioned like that. Between the lack of service, the inconvenience of having to repeatedly go to the front desk, and the disrespectful interaction, I will not be staying here again.
