The two stars is only because of the nice lady when I checked in other than that, the odor that others have mentioned on here was so so bad it smelled like humidity \chemicals. It was so bad !also during my stay, the power went out and I had a business meeting in the morning, so I couldn’t even get ready because it was so dark in the room . I do understand that things happen, but when I went to report it at the front office that morning, the reception wasn’t apologetic and just not good customer service overall. and the no AC was no joke. It is so humid in corpus and so uncomfortable. I checked out as early as I could.

I would like to add that the bed and pillows were very comfortable, much more comfortable than a stay I had about a month ago at a Fairfield Hotel for a higher price. Proof that you can still get good quality at a reasonable price. I almost forgot to mention that Julio was very helpful when I called to book and that Victoria was so sweet when I checked-in.
