The service tonight has been excellent! This is our second stay here and there’s a reason I chose this over another place! Thank you and I recommend this location 100%

- DDDawnOct 18, 20254.0I read pretty bad reviews about this HI Express, but it was the closest thing I could find to Round Top for the Fall 2025 Antiques week, so I booked it. The location is directly off I-10, easy to find, and we arrived around 5pm. Front desk staff was friendly enough, not overly though. The elevator worried me a bit, as it's a bit dirty and squeaky, however when we got to our room (310) it was absolutely lovely. Recently remodeled, I couldnt find a thing wrong with it. Had a mini fridge that worked really well, a microwave, a K Cup coffee maker with coffee and a couple of Teas provided. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap and body lotion were all provided in pump dispensers - Dove products. The bed was on the firm size, but very clean, 4 pillows per queen bed. Included a side chair and table, desk with rolling chair, dresser and closet, and space for suitcases. I was totally happy with the room. We were there for 5 days, and I don't think I was greeted upon entering/exiting the hotel once by staff, but it isn't necessary for a good nights sleep - they could just be a tiny bit friendlier/more present. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, parking was adequate - all in all a great stay, and I would honestly book here again for a Round Top trip, just to get away from all the bustle to get a quiet nights sleep! I am a white female senior citizen. I had a Visa card excepted anywhere except Holiday Inn Express. It was a ZIP card Visa and supposedly their machine did not take it. NO, they didn’t know how to use their new system. I will book online and pay online from now on But I will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn Express again and I travel very often!
