    Erick provided poor customer service. He asked me to return for check in at 2pm since hotel was booked previous night and early check in was not available yet he gave other guests early check in. I returned at 2 still no room, Yet another guest was checking in while I waited. I wondered if he was going to allow 3 guests to wait with me for a room. He was not. He started checking those guests in ahead of me.

    I have always felt comfortable if the Hilton Honors was involved. Not this time. This hotel was pitiful. Old outdated furniture and decor. Soiled and filthy carpet. The carpet was not laid down on tje floor it was laid on top bunched up likena throw rug. I could not sleep. I finally got up at 5:00 am to go back to Arkansas. I drove un alert die to lack of sleep. I usually stay at tje LBJ location or in Grapevine. Very discussted and dissatisfied customer.

    This is my second time to this hotel this year and the same things that were out of order or not working in July and the SAME in October. The treadmills in the gym don’t work, my door has a large gap where you can see into my room from the hallway. The front desk didn’t show up to check in till 10 minutes of waiting at the front.

    Made a reservation through Booking.Com on a Sunday, for a Friday afternoon arrival. For unforeseen medical reasons we had to cancel, and did so on Tuesday. Refund immediately and emphatically denied. Hampton said talk to Booking, and Booking said talk to Hampton - each claiming they haven’t heard from the other. The medical issues are bad enough, but to be treated so uncompassionately is unfathomable. What kind of inconsiderate people do this?

    The staff were very friendly. Indoor pool was a little on the cold side, but once you got moving it felt just fine. Exercise room had lots of space and water. Downstairs coffee was great! Ice machine on 4th floor was down and one of the elevators wasn’t working. The second elevator works just fine though and for a small hotel like this it never got too crowded. We stayed 4 nights and we would go back!
