I stayed here on Friday 12/5/25, I hope I don't have a word limit because I have a LOT to say. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this was about the worse I have encountered. Allow me to begin. First of all, you are greeted throughout the place with concrete slab column ceilings. The transport and support lugs still protrude from them. As you lay in bed you can stare up at a concrete ceiling where there are gaps so wide you can see up into the ceiling and floor above. Who knew that postmodern third world architecture was the going design choice. It's a CHEAP and LAZY option chosen by the owners. Period. There is a convenient wall mounted fidget device. Or maybe it's supposed to be an interactive art piece. But to them, they call it a thermostat. It can be called that in name alone as it does NOTHING to control the actual room environment. Sure, the power comes on it, and the buttons are active but that is where it ends. Which brings me to the wall mounted unit under the window. It is, I imagine, part of some bulk wholesale item from a pay by the hour motel that was being condemned. It also did NOTHING to affect the room environment and the "high" setting on the fan wouldn't blow hard enough to ruffle the hair on a flea's rear end. But let's move on to the bathroom. I had turned on the sink faucet for cold water so I could splash some on my face after the 600 mile drive I just made and wanted to do so before going down to the restaurant and bar. To my surprise, the hot and cold water was REVERSED! What should have been hot was cold and vice versa. I stuck my hands under the water expecting coolness only to be attacked by very hot water. Now to that shower. It is a literal death trap and a horrible design. First of all, the shower head was at the opposite end of the ONLY way the glass shower doors slide open. So, you have no choice but to get inside to turn it on. Once you do get inside to shower you have to struggle at times to stay on your feet because the shower basin they have installed becomes an ice rink once it is wet and soapy. It really needs some sort of abrasive or texture added to the surface or someone less surefooted WILL fall and if they do so into that glass it could be fatal. I checked into this place at around 5pm and left at 4 am because I couldn't take the heat of my room anymore. I was on the 3rd floor and heat rises, and ALL of my environmental controls in the room were about as useful as a democrat, So, not very or at all. When I went to check out, I had to wait for 20+ minutes because the front desk clerk was...well...who knows. They were not there. The ONLY and I mean only reason I gave this hellscape 2 stars was because the bartender was awesome. Great young lady and the burger I had was fantastic. Even if it took almost half an hour for them to make it. The management of this place needs a wake-up call. If a mark existed, they missed it. In retrospect, it explains why this place was cheaper than everyone else. I just didn't know the "cheap" part was in the quality...Look elsewhere

We stayed here on the nights of November 26 and November 27, 2025. This review does not reflect on the front desk clerk. She did everything that she could do to make our stay a little bit more enjoyable. We have stayed at this hotel for every Thanksgiving for the last four years. During our first night there, our toilet was clogged. We went down to the desk to ask if we could have maintenance go to our room to fix it. That was when we were told that the hotel had let the entire maintenance staff off for the holidays, and they did not have a code to the maintenance closet. So there was no way of getting a plunger. Me and my husband drove around College Station, trying to find an open store so that we could purchase a plunger. Since it was Thanksgiving holidays, all stores were closed. We were offered to change rooms, however, with our dog, and all of our belongings, we didn’t have the time to pack up and move due to family gathering events in College Station. I don’t understand why a hotel would not have any maintenance back-up plans for any room maintenance issues that might arise. The front desk clerk should have been given at least the code to the maintenance closet. It was a terrible stay. My daughter and her family also stayed at this hotel in a separate room. They also had plumbing issues as their shower drain backed up. They could not take showers during their entire stay. Her room also had a musty, moldy mildew smell and has been sick since their stay at this hotel. It was a very bad experience. Our previous years’ stays were so much better and enjoyable. Hopefully, this hotel will make major improvements. I have never heard of a hotel letting their entire housekeeping and maintenance crews off, especially at their busiest time during the holidays.

Very noisy hallway and dog barking a few rooms down. Carpet in our room can use a deep cleaning. And the hotels back door entrance was unlocked. Seemed the door magnetic lock was broken.

Super cute, boutique-ish hotel in a good location close to the college campus. Ate breakfast at the bar restaurant and it was pretty good and decently priced. Portions are large enough to share from what we ordered. The male bartender we had was super friendly and made me an excellent lavender latte! No need to go to Sbux, the signature coffee drinks are really good here for $5 & I consider myself a coffee snob. The only bummer was that their website claims they serve complimentary breakfast, but unfortunately, they no longer offer it.
