Overall this hotel gets a 1 star. It dropped the ball in a lot of places. Let's start with the check in process. It was relatively easy and the second clerk I talked to was pleasant. While the first lady was nice, she wouldn't let us check in early at 1pm, but I'm not going to ding the hotel for that. In general, the staff were nice. +1 star The room was decently clean. A few spots were missed, but nothing that made me think things weren't regularly changed out. The clock time was way off and it wasn't fully vacuumed. The big kicker was that, like most hotels, this hotel has stopped stocking the individual shampoos and conditioners and just have the bottles glued to the wall that they just refill. I'm all about reducing waste and it benefits the company as well so good for them. EXCEPT we had absolutely no conditioner bottle. Not like, "Oh it wasn't filled". No. There wasn't even a spot for it. I could clearly see where there was once three bottles glued to the wall. At some point all 3 were removed. But then only 2 were glued to a new spot to the wall. As someone who does rely on these bottles for short trips, this was a big loss. Between the mediocre cleaning of the room and staff clearly not caring about stocking the bathroom appropriately, -2 stars. And then there was breakfast. It's free which is nice. But it should be because it was mostly crap. I had the oatmeal which apparently was the safest choice. My kids got the eggs, bacon, and sausage. Look, I love all of those things. And I get that a free breakfast means that the quality might not be the best. But I've stayed at enough Home2 Suites to know that this is usually a solid choice. Not here. The eggs were terrible. They were overcooked and flavorless. Might as well have been served in the plastic it probably came in. The sausage was also gross. It's difficult to describe, but it was just not tasty. At all. And then there's the bacon. It looked crispy which was a big win for me. I love crispy bacon. But then, I bit into it and immediately regretted my choice. It barely tasted like bacon and tasted more like chemicals. The after taste really got me. I know that my opinion is rooted in reality because I saw a lot of people throwing away plates full of food. I'm not sure what happened here. Is it management and things are just falling apart? Do staff just not care? It was seriously baffling because we generally like Home2 Suites. But I definitely won't stay here again (and I'm going to be in CS often). Maybe consider it if there are more positive reviews after me. But this place deserves only 1 star.

I travel a lot for work and this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I had to lift the shower sliding door to open and close it because the rail is broken. The TV screen freezes every 10 min. It’s 5 30am now and I’m writing this from my bed because the next door room’s alarm has been going off for the past 30 minutes and the front desk can’t do anything about it till 8 am.

Average. The hotel has minor flaws all over. Our room smelled like pets and the AC squealed. Breakfast was average. Price was super high. Probably minimal motivation to enhance the property because they know they'll always sell out for big campus events.

Room 511. I have pictures and video. I have an upper respiratory infection from the black mold inside YOUR AC unit. I don’t care if ESPN or POTUS is in this hotel, you’re putting me into another room ASAP, I have potential for legal recourse for this because black mold exposure can kill people. You are liable and if no corrective is taken on your behalf, meaning I get another room, I will seek out my options including your organization paying my medical bills for treatment. I’m not posting the pictures or videos but I will if this is remediated ASAP! Here I thought it was something else, so I checked the AC unit. Not cool

I am absolutely outraged. I booked this reservation a month out and it is still 3 weeks until the reservation. I called to cancel our reservation because we can’t make it and they said ok, but we still have to charge you the full amount. I had no idea that I booked a non-refundable room a month out. I went through the purchase process again on their website and they do not make this clear AT ALL! In my confirmation email it was in fine print, though too late at that point. I do not like playing gotcha games. I have not booked a non-refundable that wasn’t the same night in ages because everyone offers options. This is a $750 reservation! I WILL NOT BE USING HOME2 EVER AGAIN!
