The hotel is conveniently located, and my corner room suite looked really good. Sadie from the front desk was really nice and helpful, and made my stay memorable. Leah the bartender from the Dean's was awesome!, she made great food recommendations and the beer tasted good.

All me and my family can say from this experience here is just "Wow" I mean from the rooms, to the customer service just everything about this hotel was amazing. But the most amazing experience came from the cook in the mornings, Jermaine I believe his name was. The food was delicious, hot, and didn't take long at all. Despite him being super busy we all got our food quickly and it was amazing! That young man clearly knows what he's doing, and does it with a smile and confidence you just don't see nowadays. So good job too you sir, I recommend this hotel if you're in the area and make sure you ask is Jermaine cooking in the mornings 🙂

Elevator Lock Down. We have been staying at the Hilton for over 8 years while we put 2 kids through college at TAMU. Between campus tours, new student conferences, moving in/out of apartments, football games, etc., this was a bunch of stays in CSTAT. All good experiences until the playoffs coincided with graduation. We had dinner reservations to celebrate graduation with our youngest. We booked 3 rooms for the event to include our oldest and my parents (pushing 80). The restaurant is about 10 minutes away, so we left 30 minutes beforehand to account for traffic. Turns out that traffic wasn't the problem. The elevators were locked down while they unloaded 6 bus loads for the opposing team in town for the playoffs. by the time we realized that they were NOT stopping on the 11th floor, 20 minutes or so went by. We hiked down from the 11th floor to the parking lot. To add excitement to the trip downstairs, a couple of floors were pitch black due to burned out lights. (no one was hurt, thankfully). My wife asked for manager on the way out, and was simply told that the elevators were being manually operated. I found my parents walking around in the parking lot looking for us. The restaurant was kind enough to hold our reservation (during graduation). if we had not hiked downstairs, we certainly would have lost said reservation and celebrated at a fast-food restaurant somewhere. We have stayed at the Hilton for many home games. They frequently locked down one elevator for the opposing team, but never both, while we were there. Very disappointing.

We had several issues during our stay at Hilton College Station & Conference Center
1) Linens/cleanliness: When we got settled for bed, the pillowcases had a strong musky/closet odor. We called the front desk simply to request fresh pillowcases/sheets. The response we received felt unprofessional—security came to our door asking what the “problem” was and referencing that the front desk employee was working alone, as if we had made a complaint. We were not complaining; we were requesting clean bedding due to the odor. The interaction felt dismissive and included attitude, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience for asking for something basic.
I understand staffing shortages happen, but clean, fresh-smelling linens are a minimum expectation, and guests should not feel blamed or confronted for requesting fresh bedding.
2) Fire alarm disruption: At approximately 9:00 AM, the fire alarm went off repeatedly for about an hour, waking us up and frightening us. It would go off, stop, and then sound again every few minutes. We called the front desk to ensure everything was okay and were told they were practicing fire alarm drills. If this was a drill, it was handled extremely poorly—an hour of repeated alarms is disruptive, stressful, and not acceptable for guests.
I have emailed a complaint cause this was just pure craziness. I will be waiting to getting an email back. If I don’t I will be contacting corporate.
Thank you
