  Clean. Pet friendly ($20/night). Good, hot breakfast. Right off the hwy so easy in and out. Would stay again

  At approximately 3:00 a.m., when exhaustion had fully taken the wheel and our souls were operating on fumes, Kenny appeared behind the desk at the Best Western Inn Plus in Clarendon, TX like a well-rested hospitality wizard. Kenny was funny, sharp, and somehow still cheerful at an hour when most humans are legally considered nocturnal gremlins. Kenny got us a military discount without us even having to ask twice (a hero), assured us the breakfast was actually good (said with the confidence of a man who has personally sampled it), and made the entire check-in process so smooth it felt suspicious—in the best way. Then there were the blankets. Not one. Not two. But three extra big blankets for our three kiddos, delivered by Kenny, who clearly understands that tired parents and cold children are not to be trifled with. Kenny didn’t blink, didn’t sigh, didn’t judge our zombie energy—he simply handled business. Thanks to Kenny, we were off the road and into beds faster than our kids could argue over pillows. Honestly, if customer service had a gold standard, it would be named Kenny. If you’re checking in late, early, or somewhere in between—hope you get Kenny. Absolute pleasure, even at 3 a.m exhaustion levels. Kenny deserves a raise! Thank you for ensuring and creating a welcoming environment 😊 (Western skies..... the other hotel, Thanks for not answering the doorbell or phone call and sparing us whatever awaited your less than appealing uh....nvm I should just thank you for that.... thanks. )

  Guys don’t walk run to this hotel Kenny was an absolute greatness for us after a long drive from colorodo he made me feel at home told me about all of the amenities and made us feel like absolute family my husband zen and I stayed for a night and my god what a comfortable clean room cameras everywhere great breakfast indoor pool jacuzzi in the room jacuzzi near the pool the hospitality was what we loved though he brought the star to the lone star state Kenny thank you brother from zen I couldn’t thank you enough for all your help and I wish everyone who stays here a good experience as good as we had. What an amazing associate couldn’t ask for more we will absolutely be using best western moving forward thank you Kenny!!!!!

  This was the best hotel of this caliber I have ever stayed at. Well taken care of. It was very nicely decorated for Christmas, there was beautiful artwork down the first floor hallway. While those are not individually important they do highlight the attention to detail and well looked after property. All of the normal things, bed and cleanliness were very good.

  Great hotel! All the front desk people were amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. During breakfast, Steve, the manager, stopped by to ask about our stay. He was quite pleasant and thanked us for staying with them. That is rare these days to have such great local management. They honored our room preferences. Breakfast was good with healthy options. Love the Espresso machine that had all kinds of delicious options. Highly recommend!
