Exceptional Stay – Best Hotel and Service!
"I recently stayed at this Best Western Plus and I can honestly say it was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I checked in, everything was perfect.
The service is top-tier; the staff is incredibly professional, friendly, and they truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The rooms are spotless, modern, and very comfortable—perfect for resting after a long day of work or travel.
Without a doubt, this is the best hotel in the area. Everything from the amenities to the overall atmosphere is excellent. If you are looking for quality, comfort, and the best customer service, look no further. 10/10 recommended!"

In all my travels and hotel stops over the last year prior, this place has to be one of the cleanest and most peaceful. It’s only 30 seconds off the main road through town, and easily accessible! There’s parking for both individual and commercial vehicles!
Unlike many hotels that I have been privy to visiting, this one is well put together. No mold, no missing pieces of walls or utilities, and always a friendly face at the front desk!
The front desk concierge is supposedly the owner, and from what I saw and experienced, this appears to be true. When not busy during the day, would gracefully trim an water the yards, and do the cleaning of the front area.
Rooms were pretty great, clean pillows, sheets and covers, soft beds that you could just fall into.
The ONLY downside is the internet, as it appears to be not-so-reliable. But if that’s all that’s not perfect with it, boo hoo. My coworker and I had no issues with our room situation.

I'll start this review out with, my family has supported this establishment from the very beginning. We've blocked and booked up to 20 rooms at one time for family functions and also rented out their meeting room for a family reunion dinner a few years back. My family own land about 10 minutes from this hotel, however, I have a pretty large family and when we're having events on the property, it's not enough space for everyone to stay at the homestead so we rent rooms here...
My previous experiences until now has been great with this hotel. Unfortunately, a couple of the employees that were working there a few years ago are no longer there.
Now to the issue at hand
1. I reserved my room on the hotels website as usual. Since I adopted 3 special needs sons, over 15 years ago, 2 being severely autistic and nonverbal ,I always book a two queen bedroom, which accommodates 4 people. The guy at the front desk (Shiva) I believe (dark hair brown skin complexion with a strong foreign accent) asked me how many people? I told him 4, (my 3 special needs sons and myself) "well your reservation says for one") okay, well maybe that was just an oversight because I requested two beds as usual, that normally accommodates four people correct? Yes, that's correct. How old are your sons? What different does it make their special needs. Well I will have to charge you for the extra people. You know what we can go somewhere else. Mind you I had already swiped my card then he goes on to say I'll let you stay this time. But in the future you have to book for 4 people because when my breakfast person comes in and there's a certain amount of people that's listed at the hotel. If she doesn't make enough food then the customers get mad. Okay I understand that but I don't eat hotel food that's warmed up in the microwave (no stove) nor do I give it to my sons. Also y'all stop serving breakfast at 9 :00am and we're still asleep anyway.
2. We were out of toilet paper in the room on the second night so I went downstairs about 1:00 a.m. to a sign at the front desk saying I'll be back in a few minutes... So I sat in the lobby waiting until about 1:36 a.m. still no one at the front desk. So I just went to the lobby bathroom and grab one of the toilet paper rolls out of there.
3. I extended my stay an extra day so that made it a three night stay. As I stated above my boys sometime like to sleep late which is why I agreed to pay $25 while making the reservation. There was an option. Either you could check in early and pay $25 or check out late and pay $25. I chose the check out late. Which I paid that when I checked in. It's also on my receipt online.
4. On the day of checkout, it was already established that I would leave 2:00 p.m., Well at 1:36 p.m. I get a call while I was bathing my youngest son from the front desk (Shiva) (are you checking out?) It had been an hour that I came through the lobby to have a key remade because of the late checkout and he acknowledged that he knew that I was leaving at 2:00 p.m.
5. So me and my sons make it downstairs at 1:53 to check out. I stop by the front desk to get my receipt. He then tells me give me a second. I have to check the room . Ok, When he comes back down I asked him when did that policy start. I mean you have my credit card on file. What are you checking for?? Oh it's been that way since I've been here about 3 to 4 years...... Absolutely not. 🤬🤬
6. THE NIGHT AFTER CHECKOUT, I'M HOME 2 HOURS AWAY FROM THE HOTEL AND I NOTICED A CHARGE OF $28.17 ON MY STATEMENT. SO I CALLED THE HOTEL AND YOURS TRULY ANSWERED THE PHONE. I EXPLAINED WHO I WAS AND THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THE LATE CHECKOUT. WELL SEND ME A COPY OF THE RECEIPT AND I'LL REFUND AND THEN HE HANGS UP THE PHONE.
Message to the owner. I'm not sure if this guy is one of your family members or what. However he's bad for business. The young lady named Lacey has a much better attitude. She's friendly. Really professional. I'm not sure if Shiva is the manager, But if so, he needs to be demoted. I will be contacting Best Western customer service.
