Booked and paid for the reservation months ahead of time. The day of the reservation we called to make sure we'd still be able to check in if we showed up around midnight and they said we would be fine. There was a rainstorm that night as we showed up that took their internet down. The clerk at the front desk said that because their internet was down he couldn't give us a room and would have to cancel our reservation. He wasn't trying to make it work. I called and found a room somewhere else and went to just have him cancel the reservation, to which he said it was a nonrefundable reservation so we needed to call corporate if we didn't want to be charged.. Corporate was great and obviously refunded us. Avoid this location, especially if it rains.

After a storm on Friday night the elevators were down. Who would imagine a Hilton Hotel property would not be able to repair the elevators for the 3 days we were there? We were told it was electrical and there was no concern from the night employee that it would not be repaired shortly. No problem with electricity in the hotel. We left early the next morning via the stairs and returned later in the day to prepare for our granddaughter’s school event at 7pm, the main reason for our visit. My husband talked to the employee regarding refunding one night of points due to the total surprise of no elevator. He spoke with his manager and agreed to refund one night. We left to attend a play and the phone calls started from the manager. He knew we were attending an event from 7-9pm. He rescinded the agreement made prior and said the only option for us was to move downstairs by 8pm. The total lack of customer service is mind boggling. He kept calling my husband’s phone multiple times and I know my husband spoke with him at least twice before the play started. The management is totally classless and this pretty, very much needed hotel will be a run down eye sore in a short time. We did not receive coffee, towels, or any service while there. No offer to assist with our bags and the stairs upon checkout. The stairs might not seem like a big deal for 3 days to some guests but as a manager I would certainly offer assistance and hope that the rest of guests experience went well. A helpful, concerned attitude goes a long way. This manager and his style seems totally out of touch and doomed for failure.

Shout out Nancy! What started as an awful check in (down graded our room; Nancy was not working) ended with incredible customer service! I can not speak more highly of this lady. She was dealing with multiple issues but put us first every time!

Every time we stay here under my Daughters name in midland they are playing on their tv’s in the lobby MSNBC. I would rather not watch this as I am conservative. Thank you!!!!!!!

Nice hotel. Economy level, but I was there for work so I wasn't looking for anything fancy. Attentive and friendly staff. Only real complaint is the digital key function hasn't worked the last couple of times I stayed here. Would like a little more options for breakfast too. Overall, it is a nice hotel and is great for what I needed!
