  Had a good experience until I requested a late checkout for today. My father had a HEART ATTACK and was recovering in the room and as a benefits member we can request late checkout times. I spoke to THREE different people who stated the checkout time of 2:00pm was approved and we would have no issues. It’s 11:47 and they already de-activated his key. Unorganized and sad representation of holiday inn express. I stayed 3 nights and was asked on night two if I was a food delivery service… mind you I walked in with my husband and child and our to go food which countless people do. I may have looked ragged since I had been day in and out taking care of my father who just had heart surgery. Horrible experience due to staff. Do not recommend them. Completely unorganized.

  Overall, a good hotel that I've stayed at before for work trips. I'll stay here again. However, I had one rough experience last time I stayed. A few days after we had icy weather here in Texas, a coworker and I rolled in at 10pm-ish, had to wait a long time at the front desk for someone to show up. Like, over 15 minutes, and when I called the hotel no one picked up and we heard the phone ring from behind the desk. When someone finally arrived, they said they were busy changing the thermostats on the 3rd floor. Well, I was given a room on the 3rd floor, and the thermostat wasn't changed. It was on cooling still. So I changed it to heat at 75 and it took forever to get the room to a decent temperature. I forget what it was initially but in my picture I had it at 52F. I was feeling pretty miserable about it because I was tired after a long day of travel and just wanted to sleep. I even took a hot shower hoping it would warm the room up faster but it didn't really help. It took a few hours, I slept after about two hours when it was low/mid 60s (I prefer a cozy 72 though). Besides that, the stay was like other stays I've had before -- clean, quiet, convenient. I'll stay here again, but that was a really irritating experience. My coworker was on a separate floor and had no problem, I would have switched rooms but I didn't expect it to take hours for the room to heat up.

  Clean almost brand new IHG Holiday Inn Express. Hotel was almost new. Public areas and room was clean and everything working properly. Double screen on the room windows so it was very dark while sleeping. During check-in and checkout, front office person greeted us and they were smiling. Breakfast was standard IHG Holiday Inn Express breakfast, nothing was missing. Everything was hot and delicious. Coffee was great, I stayed to many times on IHG Holiday Express hotels, but I saw first time this kind of coffee machine, which was grinding from coffee beans and prepares hot coffee. There were two coffee machines so there was no wait time. Location is good, not far away from center and shopping places and not noisy. Parking lot is very lit and looks safe. Absolutely I will stay again if I go to College Station

  Had a really nice stay there. The beds and pillows were nice and comfy. The bed sheets and comforters were clean AC and heat worked off of a wall mounted thermostat and it seemed to work great. I would highly recommend this place.

  I booked a reservation at this Holiday Inn through a third party service that Holiday Inn willingly accepts and does business with. When an issue arose and the reservation needed to be canceled, Holiday Inn claimed there was nothing they could do because it was booked through a third party. That response is unacceptable. If Holiday Inn chooses to partner with outside booking services, then they share responsibility when those services mistreat customers. Passing the blame entirely while continuing to profit from those partnerships shows a lack of accountability. If Holiday Inn cannot assist customers who book through these platforms, then they should not be doing business with companies that engage in predatory or scam like practices. Customers should not be punished for using booking services that the hotel itself allows and benefits from. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in the Holiday Inn brand, and I will think twice before booking again.
