This establishment stands out as an exceptional choice, particularly for extended stays. The social hour commences at 5:30 PM, providing ample opportunity for socializing. Additionally, the food offerings contribute to cost savings. The wine and beer selections are commendable. The staff consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly. While the hot tub occasionally malfunctions, the rooms are generally satisfactory. However, there is a need for an upgrade, including the removal of the carpet on the floors, as it occasionally emits a musky odor. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to exceed expectations. The housekeeping service is exemplary, with Venessa at the front desk being particularly outstanding.
Breakfast is worth it, housekeeping is everyday

Absolutely terrible customer service when trying to reach the front desk after checking out. I have spent over 9 hours calling the front desk, trying to get a copy of my receipt. When I did finally reach somebody at 11 PM, I was rushed off of the phone, the receipt was never sent to me, and they are screening my calls.
If you are a visiting military family, PCSing to the area, or TDY… I highly recommend you find lodging elsewhere.
Contacting customer service also did not get us very far. Some of the representatives went above and beyond and tried to contact the location for us as well… They also were unable to make contact.

A maybe slightly-below-average IHG property. Rooms were functional but dated. Corrosion/mold in tub area. Cleanliness was marginal. HVAC unit somehow just let outside air blow in between cycles. Breakfast was okay, although the hot-dogs-in-sauce wasn't my cup of tea for breakfast. But overall I would probably stay there again (all the IHG properties in Brownsville seem to be cheaper than Hilton and Marriot properties). The workout room had a (worn) cable machine which was a nice bonus (rare for IHG). The afternoon snacks were a nice gesture! The staff was all welcoming! The sign said housekeeping was once a week but I forgot to put dnd on door two days in a a row and housekeeping made my room up both days, which is cool I guess. Truly a three star experience. Not amazing, not terrible. Oh! And getting out of there at 5pm is difficult b/c the area is so busy. But that's not the hotels' fault. Brownsville's road infrastructure is just wacky.

It was ok. The room was comfortable, though we saw a roach hanging out in the kitchen when we first entered. The carpets were worn and stained, and some hallways smelled musty. The breakfast was good and the internet worked well.
