Our experience mimics what many others have said: - Dirty & moldy bathrooms (how is that sanitary?) - Hotel needs quite a few repairs throughout the building (halls, walls, tile in the hallways and elevator) - There was a roach in our bathroom - Toilet wasn't flushing properly - Carpets felt gross under our feet - Great price, but I would have much rather paid more for peace of mind with cleanliness We received 3 bath towels in our room, that's it - no hand towels, no wash cloths, no bath mat towel. The positives: the room was quiet, the area felt safe, and the only staff member I dealt with was helpful and kind. We avoided breakfast due to the state of the room and there wasn't much to choose from at 7am. This is NOT the quality that we expect in a Holiday Inn unfortunately.

I recently stayed at your property while attending a band competition in the area. Our first night was on Halloween, and since my son’s band performed at a football game, the students had a small trunk-or-treat event afterward. It was a long day — my son had to wake up at 5:30 a.m. for practice and didn’t return to the hotel until around 10:30 p.m. When we arrived, I informed the front desk that my son had accidentally left his bucket of Halloween candy in the room. The staff member advised that the cleaning crew had already left for the day and later mentioned that they had taken the bucket home for their own children, as it was considered a “non-valuable” item. While I understand your policy, I would encourage the hotel to consider holding all left-behind items — especially unopened food or candy on a holiday like Halloween — for at least 24 hours before disposal or removal. Additionally, during our stay: We were unable to receive a key card because the key pod was broken, and we had to be escorted to our room. When we arrived our first night, our door was found open, which made us uneasy. The breakfast area was not monitored, and several items were unavailable (no eggs, pancakes, or cinnamon rolls), which prevented us from eating breakfast that morning. Overall, our stay was disappointing due to these issues. I hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences, as your staff was otherwise polite and professional.

This property is a complete dive. Black mold everywhere in the bathroom, handle fell off sink faucet, dirty shower floor, patchwork of tile and drywall, dirty lamp shades, worn out office chair, no attention to trash and breakfast area with large groups in town. Need I say more?

Traveled here for company training and the room I was put in #214 was absolutely horrible! It was NOT CLEAN * there was dirty water in the bathtub that didn't drain! There was mold on ceiling and stains everywhere including on the bed!! At checkout the guy proceeds to ask me that my room # was 314 but the girl at the desk gave me #214 called downstairs for maintenance about tub & no one showed up! Will never stay here again! At over 100 a night they need to do much better & the sausage links at breakfast were raw!! Gross!! I either I could add photos! Chairs in room all stained with who knows what!! Disgusting 🫣

STAY AWAY! Beeville is my hometown and I come back to visit for family celebrations a few times out of the year. This will be the LAST time I give this hotel a chance. I called around 1p asking for an earlier check in and was immediately told “NO” since all guests had a late checkout. ALL GUESTS? Every single last one?? Really 🤔 They did not bother to even ask my name to see if the specific room I’d be in would be available an hour early…But no worries. I decided I’d visit my mother prior to checking in instead of after check in so no biggie. I arrive around 3:15 for my check in. It took 10min to check the person in front of me in. A bit irritating but I’m not in too much of a hurry so I continue to wait. I’m finally checked into my room and as soon as I enter the room I am overwhelmed by this INTENSE stench of mildew, mold, and mustiness. The air felt wet and my throat immediately begins feeling irritated. I glance into the bathrooms…They are filthy! Floors are dirty, shower is covered in mildew with peeling walls. As I step in to take a closer look, the bathroom tiles beneath begin to move and I realize several are loose. I asked for another room and was given the room next to the previous. The mildew and moldy smell is still present but not as strong as before but still too much to bear. Mold and mildew were present in the shower and floors in bathroom & room was clearly not cleaned as evidenced by the hair & filth present. Stains and food were on couch and there was a dust film where microwave and coffee were. Mind you, this was the room that was suppose to be BETTER than the previous one. I was moved AGAIN to a 3rd room. Same issues as BEFORE in addition to dirt & HAIR on floors with damaged walls. It was as if each room was just getting worse. They promised a clean room on a 4th try. I watched the manager ask two workers to clean the room. I asked to “smell” it beforehand due to the unbearable mildew smell in the 3 previous rooms. The mildew smell was very faint and pressed for time (I had an event), I agreed that this would work. I asked the manager to please not have the cleaners rush as I’d rather them take their time to ensure a clean room. It was not even 20min before we were told our room was “ready”. I watched the cleaners leave down the hallway. We were very close to the room as we waited and I NEVER heard a vacuum, never saw them come out with linens indicating a change. I knew the room would once again not be clean enough but we were now pressed for time to get dressed. After entering the room, I noticed my suspicion of floors not being vacuumed. There was visible trash on the floors. The bathroom shower was moldy (big surprise 🙄). There were FRUIT FLIES 🪰 in the room. I counted 4 that landed on the mirror by the beds and killed 3 in the bathroom. There was also a pinto bean 🫘 STUCK in the bathroom sink. CLEARLY management does NOT value cleanliness in this establishment. Nick Patel, the manager who has responded to low rated reviews on here has obviously done ANYTHING to address this issues and has not taken these issues to his supervisors. Save your breath and please don’t respond to this. You clearly don’t value your customers or their experience during their stay. I had this room change happened before back in May and now again Oct 4… After being switched 4x and returning back after to the filthy hotel room, our family opted to make the 3 hr drive BACK to Houston at 11p vs staying in this trashy establishment. My husband and I didn’t even bother asking for a refund because we wanted to be DONE with this place. I will NEVER stay at this place again and gladly told everyone at the event to steer clear as well. Do NOT believe any positive reviews from this place and save yourself from the hassle we had to endure from this run down establishment.
