    I’ve been a Hilton Honors diamond member for over 15 years but this place has me rethinking their standards. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Poor service, fleas, blood on light switch and elsewhere, broken light fixtures. It’s what I’d expect from a rent by the hour motel not a Hilton product. Hilton, dump this property before it ruins your reputation further.

    I choose Hilton branded hotels because I expect a certain level of cleanliness, quality and comfort from Hilton properties. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT MEET HILTON STANDARDS. We love the suite setup in Homewood Suites, but this location is old, tired and dirty. Staff members were friendly and efficient, but they can not make up for a very outdated and old property. Walls, sofa and chairs were stained and dirty in our room. Corners, especially. Mold and mildew were very prevalent. There was hair (long and short) on bathroom floor, and stuck to fixtures when we checked in. The towels were like sandpaper! I am not exaggerating. This hotel does not provide cups, either paper or plastic, in the bathrooms. The shampoo and hand soap bottles mounted on the wall were empty. The bedding, which most Hilton Hotels do very well, was old and threadbare. The sheets did not fit the bed. Comforter was dingy and flat, and would not stay under the duvet cover. Doors were stained, and separating at edges. Sofa was stained and sagging. The air conditioner did work well! And location is good, especially if you are in town for events in the Arlington area. Our room smelt like dirty gym socks. Actually the hallway and 2 other guest rooms that our party occupied had an old, dirty smell to them as well. The complimentary breakfast was below the normal Hilton standards. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The complimentary coffee was either empty or cold every morning at 6am. Foot traffic in hallways and rooms above the first floor was very loud and disruptive. I believe that this property will not be a Hilton affiliate in the very near future, unless major renovations are made.

    I arrived at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Bedford after driving overnight for my reservation on February 4th. I came in around 7:45 a.m., extremely tired and hoping to check in early if possible. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk associate, Lindsey, was disappointing and far below Hilton’s standards. When I asked about early check-in, she did not check the system or make any effort to assist. She simply said the hotel was booked and that check-in was at 3 p.m. There was no courtesy, no empathy, and no attempt to offer options or even take my number. I understand that early check-in is not guaranteed, but the lack of hospitality was concerning. Later in the morning, when I returned to ask again, she was on her phone and repeated that no rooms were available without checking the computer. Only when management arrived around 12:30 p.m. did her behavior suddenly shift to a more professional tone. The inconsistency in her service was concerning and left me feeling dismissed and unwelcome. In today’s climate, especially during Black History Month, experiences like this carry a deeper weight. Black men and women continue to face disparities in how they are treated in public spaces and customer service environments. While I cannot speak to her intentions, the lack of effort, the disregard, and the sudden change in behavior once management appeared made the situation feel reflective of the broader issues many Black guests still encounter. It is disappointing to experience this at a brand that prides itself on hospitality. Hilton’s mission is to be the most hospitable company in the world and to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. Hilton’s core values include hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency. None of these values were reflected in the service I received from Lindsey. Her approach did not represent the Hilton brand and did not reflect the level of care guests should expect. I hope this review helps the management team address the inconsistency in service and ensure that all guests receive the level of hospitality that Hilton promises.

    possibly one of the worse places ive stayed at. I wish i read the reviews ahead of time. The hotel is run down. dirty rooms. It was nice that someone left " natures viagra" in my room. Housekeeping is not thorough. Left over spices in the cupboards, dont even know how long they've been there. They offer complimentary breakfast on their terms. As a selling feature to book the room they should honour it. They are still compensating for " free breakfast" in the price as there were other hotels cheaper not including breakfast. They continually ran out of items where you had to ask to replenish them and there was still over an hour left of breakfast. Final day here and there was NO breakfast, because of the storm. Dumbest excuse ive ever heard. this wasn't a freak surprise storm. They knew about this since Monday and never prepared for it., and all i got told was it was complimentary so basically they didn't have to honour it. The room doors are not sealed properly as i continuously smelt someone's disgusting cooking., not to mention the Domestic outside my room. The pictures dont represent this hotel in any way, my room also did not have a full length Mirror nor was that clean. Overall, dont recommend. dont waste your money. there are better hotels out there .
