  You pay for the ROOM so let's start there. I paid for a 1 bedroom suite with a sofa bed. The picture on the IHG app for THIS room shows the sofa bed folded into the sofa position. What I received was a second regular bed where the Sofa bed should be. The room was 80 degrees when I arrived and after blasting the AC for 3 hours it was still 75 in the main area, and the bedroom did not seem to change at all due to the cheep an inefficient way they direct air into the bedroom from the front room. The AC unit blew what can only be the smell of years of growing mold into the front room. The whole room smelled musty and gross,smelled of cigarettes, with burn marks on the floor to prove it. The bathroom floor had some inexplicable substance on the floor. I had to sleep on the bed in the living room right next to the obnoxious ac unit as it was the only place I could possibly sleep, since the bedroom was still 80 degrees. Extremely poor wifi that goes in and out, mostly out during my time in the room. I'll check out in the morning and go to the avid across the street, where I know it's clean, well kept and everything works properly. I suggest you stay somewhere else if at all possible. I don't know where all the praise for the desk staff is coming from, the vibe I got was rude and hostile right from the jump, no amount of forced friendliness and cheer from my side reduced the rudeness or hostility throughout the check in process.

  It was 6:00pm, I was naked, and seated on the porcelain throne when I heard a knock at my door. Unfortunately I assumed that someones friend or a doordasher had the wrong room since, well I've never had housekeeping come by after the check in time and was not expecting anyone. I wasn't able to get up immediately from the toilet, and I figured they would go away. After another knock I heard the door open and got up off the toilet just in time to give the Hotel maintenance man some full frontal nudity. He stood there, awkwardly trying to explain himself to me while I was standing buck naked in the middle of the room, wedding tackle on full display until I yelled at him to get out. Understandably I was quite upset at having someone walk in on me in such a position. When I called the manager, Juztin, to complain, he told me that they were doing a lot of maintenance, and since it was private property, they had the right to enter the rooms when they want and that if I didn't like it, I could check out. So that's what I did. I travel for work and spend a lot of nights in IHG hotels. I dont really have any words to express how creepy and disturbing it was for someone to enter my hotel room at night and walk in on me using the restroom. And the response I got from the manager was inconsiderate at best. I'm a pretty big guy in his 30s, I couldn't imagine how that experience would have been for a young woman. If you do stay here, make sure you deadbolt the door and set the safety catch. (Probably always a good idea) But it might be better to choose one of the other hotels in the area. Edit: the manager has inaccurately accused me of inappropriate behavior in the hotel gym in his response to my review. This allegation is patently false, I did not use the gym at this hotel, as for most of my stay I was working onsite with a customer in town. I'm not sure where this accusation is coming from, other than a desire to save face. While I did confront the manager and I was understandably upset at the time, I think his categorization of my behavior in shared spaces I frankly never occupied is quite a tall tale.
