- HPHeather PahlmanMar 10, 20265.0My time here was very quiet. I was here for work in the area. The pool is nice. Staff is very informative, respectful, and friendly. Many food places to choose from that are just four minutes away to eat at. Not a very heavy traffic area which I loved.
- MDM DavisFeb 13, 20261.0I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Bay City from 2/8–2/13 while in town for work, and unfortunately my experience was very concerning. One evening when I returned from work, I found the door to my room not only unlocked but propped open. Housekeeping had clearly failed to ensure the door was fully closed and secured after servicing the room. As a solo business traveler, this was extremely unsettling. What was even more troubling was the front desk’s response. When I reported the issue, the clerk’s reaction felt dismissive and oddly familiar with the exact scenario, which left me with the impression that this may not have been an isolated incident. There was little acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation or concern for my safety and belongings. Due to this significant lapse in basic room security — and the lack of appropriate response — I will not be returning.

I can understand having equipment issues for a day or two but when it comes to weeks it makes me think they just don’t want to spend the money to fix it, if they are looking to save money there I wonder what other corners they are cutting to save money.
