  We visited the restaurant inside hotel, indigo, previously Lady Bird kitchen, but has changed their name. Amazing food and service and our waitress, Kristine, was fabulous! My husband had the Smashburger and I had the Reuben along with a side of their absolutely amazing brussels sprouts! You must stop by for a cocktail or a bite to eat and ask for Kristine, she’s phenomenal!

  The only thing that was odd to me, was that for such a beautiful hotel, the bathrooms are not equipped with fans or vents... at least, mine wasn't. This is the second hotel from this chain (the first being in San Antonio) where I did not have a functioning vent or fan in the bathroom... just wondering why that is 🤷‍♀️

  I was very disappointed with my stay at Hotel Indigo Downtown Austin. As an IHG Platinum Elite member who stays with the brand frequently, I had much higher expectations. The hotel is connected to a Holiday Inn Express, and the overall experience felt more aligned with that level rather than what I typically expect from Hotel Indigo. The lobby is very small, though it does have a restaurant. The convenience area had a very limited drink selection, and there was no complimentary coffee offered in the mornings, which was surprising. While the room was clean, it was clearly worn down. The furniture was faded, and the wallpaper was peeling in areas, which made the space feel neglected. The bed was also extra firm and not particularly comfortable. The HVAC in the room was extremely loud and woke me up throughout the night as it turned on and off. Given my frequency of staying at IHG properties. If this was considered one of their better rooms, it definitely left much to be desired. I’m sharing this review so others can make an informed decision before booking.

  I recently used Hotel Indigo as a home base while visiting a friend who was staying at the hospital down the street. I don't drive, so the location was very important to me. The hospital was a 15 minute, half mile walk away. I felt very secure knowing I could be at Dell Seton in less than 20 minutes on foot if needed. The room, amenities, and staff were all lovely. I was in room 1018. There was a lovely view of the city from the hallway window. The view from the room was nice, too. I greatly appreciated the noise machine, which had a variety of different sounds to choose from. The water came out hot in the shower, the towels were clean, and the toiletries were very nice. I liked the hand wash and body balm the most. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

  Absolutely 0 stars for customer service. We booked a room through IHG and arrived at 9:30p to speak with the shift supervisor Tez who said that “their notes say the reservation was changed back to yesterday so we can’t do anything” although we showed them an email confirmation of our reservation for tonight. Instead of offering a complimentary night for this issue that was clearly due to the hotel system or staff mistake, Tez told us we can pay for a room. Horrible customer service.
