I called the front desk at 11:30, asked for two towels and wash rags, as the cleaning room service lady told me she didn't have any on her cart when she came to clean our room..what?? 7 hours later, I called down again to ask for our towels, the lady who answered said it would be 20-30 minutes and they will bring them up. 1 hour has gone by, I just called again and she told me they were washing still. I have to be out of here in an hour for an event and I informed the front desk lady of this, still no towels. This is uncalled for and absolutely ridiculous. My wife is a platinum elite member and this is very disappointing to be dealing with this. Never again will we pick this hotel.

Nothing by the hotel although it was close to the highway. Room service was ok, came early one day and forgot the next day. One of the elevators was scary and made noises when moving. Also, no microwave in the room

I wouldn't call this a "5 star hotel" in the sense of comparing all hotels, but it's nice. It's in kind of a weird area but close to lots of major highways so it's good if you're trying to get just about anywhere, just a little scary if you don't know the area. The breakfast is super good, I think it is a little weird they try to slyly tell you to tip even though it's a buffet (but it's better/more fresh food than most any breakfasts at hotels such as this). They've got a nice pool and walking trail with benches and stuff. All of the rooms have balconies which is great, my husband and I ended up with a corner room so we got a huge balcony. Not the greatest view but I could see like 2 of the taller buildings in downtown from afar. The shower kinda sucks, unless you are 5'5 or shorter. The beds are super firm which is okay but a little uncomfortable. Seems like just about everyone on the staff that I saw (which wasn't many) were all nice. Really, no complaints. It's not some fancy shmancy place but it's nice, the rooms are big, just that shower is made for very small people.

Good, clean hotel, convenient location and helpful staff. Steven, the night auditor, was very accommodating and provided fantastic service.
The Easter egg decoration in the lobby was a nice touch. I recommend this hotel.

The staff here were very kind and apologetic, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing.
When we first arrived, the room had several cleanliness issues. The carpet and couch were stained, the bathroom sink was cracked, and the bathroom floor clearly had not been cleaned. Because the couch looked so dirty, I asked to switch rooms. The second room’s couch was even worse, so we returned to the first room. Housekeeping came and tried to scrub the couch, but it was left soaking wet, which meant we still could not use it.
For the price of this hotel, I would expect the rooms to be cleaned much more thoroughly.
The pool area also seemed poorly maintained. The vacuum hose and skimmer were left on the ground, there were empty beer cans near the pool entrance, and several loungers had tears starting along the edges.
One other major concern was the location. I walked to Target, which is less than a 20 minute walk away. While walking back on the sidewalk, a man stopped his car and solicited me for “work.” When I returned to the hotel, I asked the front desk about the safety of walkability in the area and the man told me that the area toward Highway 35 and under to the other side is not a safe place to walk alone. As someone from out of town attending a conference, I had no way of knowing this.
Just something to be aware of, especially for women traveling alone.
