  My husband and I are just about to check out, but before we leave, I must PRAISE the staff for an amazing stay! What a deal for the money! Josh welcomed us and checked us in with a warm and friendly greeting. He made us feel comfortable and safe! We stayed in room 302 and it was so clean, so fresh, and smelled so nice. In fact, even the hallways were fresh smelling and clean! Our room and bathroom were SPOTLESS! I couldn’t believe the attention to detail. Truly- this is the CLEANEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in! In the morning, they had a beautiful breakfast spread and offering. Lots of delicious and fresh food! I’m gluten free and still found plenty to eat with a wonderful variety. I noticed the coffee machine was not working, and Michael (a friendly and helpful staff worker) jumped right in and fixed both machines right away! The service here is a 10, y’all!!! I am overwhelmed at this place! I cannot think of a reason why I would stay anywhere else in Austin!! Outstanding! Truly a hidden gem!

  This place is pretty old and starting to look run down. I stayed in a 2-queen room and the outlets in the bathroom didn't work. The only good thing about this Holiday Inn is that they have a suite with 2 separate rooms in it and 2 separate TV's so It's great for a family of 3 or more. Parents and kids can have their own room. Also, it's in a great location as in directly across the street from a mall.

  update: they gave me a partial refund and a call, they're alright they had no hot water in the morning! I expect a *first-world*, well-known hotel to manage things like a faulty water heater. so much for a shower. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because when I called to reserve the booking agent was *very* helpful

  The towels were horrible. And $2.50 bottled water, really? The bed and bed linens were nice and the breakfast was the best part. Just "okay" overall.

  This establishment is pretty much like all the rest. You will find good moments and if you look real hard you will find all the flaws. I can tell you with most it starts with the people who own the establishment. Yes you can blame housekeeping for gummies on the floor or whenever there is dust on the walls, but when you find rust on light fixtures and mold in the tub that's called maintenance and I don't mean on site maintenance most recognized establishments like this one have backers to fund the maintenance on the premises and renovate when needed. So with this said I gave them this score so the ceo's would realize it's a team effort if you want people to rave over your establishment give them something to rave over. And the service is as high as one can give when you barely came encontact with anyone. Location is the same
