This is one of my favourite hotels in Austin
But let me very very clear it’s not because of the hotel it’s because of The staff
I don’t generally eat the breakfast at these type of hotels, but that’s a personal preference
But the breakfast is always hot and on time and the kitchen staff are great
The reception staff are beautiful people and lovely
However, the hotel isn’t dying need of an update, The lifts are painfully slow and one doesn’t work
Most of the rooms in the bathrooms have Fix of paint coming off
My room this time had a whistle coming from the window where the window was not sealed correctly
The rooms are perfectly clean and well appointed
The cleaning staff are fantastic
I just wish the owners would be a bit less greedy and spend a bit of money updating the place
The location and the bus service is unbelievable. You won’t get any better in Austin.
But please to the owners and the people that have the money spend a little bit of more investment in your hotel, please

Avoid on weekends. Out of town people use as a pad for bar hopping. Had a bunch congregate outside our room after last call until 4 am. As in the hallway not out the window...management could benefit from sending some staff to do routine floor walks. Guests should't have to call the frontdesk (night time staff is either trained and rude or untrained and polite). Also I recommend they clean the carpets. White socks will become dirty after a few steps.

Had a good overall stay but in the morning of Dec 30th I was just walking to the breakfast area to see what they had and a young Hispanic girl just jumped out if nowhere and said excuse me sir can I help you?Kind of rude. I asked how much for breakfast and she pointed to the sign..$14.99 she said.I probably would've paid but she didn't let me see what's available so I left to waffle house instead..On a positive note I want to give a shout out to Leo.I visited the bar for cocktails the night before and he was so nice..Everyone was nice from check in to check out except the breakfast incident..But that's OK..Ill still visit and stay again because its a clean property, good location free parking and im not gonna let one bad apple ruin my stay..overall good stay

My sister and I booked this hotel at the same time. I redeemed IHG points for my stay, while my sister paid in cash. We were assigned rooms in different towers.
I was placed in the North Tower, where the room was dated and poorly maintained, with a narrow bathroom, visible rust, loose or non-functioning power outlets and lamps, and a very small TV. My sister stayed in the South Tower, which was noticeably newer and in much better condition. The difference was significant.
We requested a room change, but the front desk declined, stating that no two-bed rooms were available. A technician inspected the outlets and said the lamp would be replaced, but no follow-up occurred.
Later that night, when the temperature dropped, the heating system did not work.
Guests using IHG points may want to consider this when booking.
