The location is fantastic, directly beside lady bird lake. I came here for my proposal, we fell in love on that lake. When I told George at the front desk, he went out of his way to accommodate me the best he can with a room upgrade overlooking the lake I planned to propose at. The experience was incredibly kind and meaningful to me; with him sharing his own magical proposal story. Genuinely felt respected and cared for by the service staff, would highly recommend!

We were exhausted from a day of travel. Made a last minute reservation on Booking. There were plenty of parking in the garage. George were extremely courteous and efficient. He provided everything from wi-fi to the free breakfast within 10 minutes of checking in. My friend and I look at each other while waiting at the elevator “Wow… Geoge was really nice !!!”. Room was clean. AC cold. Excellent value for the money.

Came to Austin for the Billie Eilish concert. This was a perfect location, easily accessible to the highway. The customer service was excellent, very accommodating, and the rooms were very clean. My one issue with the room was the air-conditioning unit made a horrible noise every time it came on. the restaurant food was mediocre and the drink was a bit pricey with little to no alcohol. I would still come back!

We stayed here for our one-year anniversary while in town to celebrate and look for a house. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. First, the communication regarding the airport shuttle needs major improvement. While I appreciated that the hotel offers a free airport shuttle, I wasn’t informed that the shuttle to the airport had to be scheduled in advance. This wasn’t mentioned on the website, in the confirmation email, or at check-in, which ended up affecting our plans. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was easy to use, though the wait time was about 30 minutes due to heavy traffic. It would be helpful if the hotel provided clearer information online or if the front desk explained the shuttle process upon arrival. The biggest issue during our stay was the ants. There were so many ants in our room—especially in the bathroom and around the bedroom area. It made the stay uncomfortable and unsanitary. Another frustrating situation was when I accidentally burned myself in the room. I called the front desk for a first aid kit in the afternoon, but I was told that no one was available to bring it up to me at 3 p.m. I was really surprised that there wasn’t anyone on staff who could help with something so simple and important. On top of that, basic amenities like toothpaste and a toothbrush weren’t provided in the room, so I had to go down to the front desk to ask for them. Items like that should really be stocked in the bathroom ahead of time. I do want to mention that the older front desk gentleman with glasses was very kind, attentive, and welcoming. The hotel’s location was also great and convenient for what we needed. Overall, this hotel needs to improve communication across their website and staff, ensure essential amenities are provided in the rooms, and address the ant infestation issue. While I recognize it’s a three-star hotel, I’ve experienced much better cleanliness and service at two-star properties. Unfortunately, there were more negatives than positives during our stay.

Absolutely the worst hotel stay I’ve had in recent memory. AVOID! The check-in line at 4:15p on a Monday afternoon was 12 people deep. Poor George was overwhelmed and he even mentioned that they are short staffed. I called ahead and made a few requests, knowing they aren’t guaranteed, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask. I asked for a quiet room on the end on a higher floor with feather free meaning foam pillows. I got none of that. Couldn’t even get the king bed that I had requested. The hotel is really old and outdated. The walls are so thin that when somebody opened and closed their door down the hallway, it would literally shake in my room. And…The WiFi wasn’t working. I called downstairs after I checked in to make some complaints, but George is the one that answers the phone and he put me on indefinite holds. Called three times. $180 a night and I would’ve been better off at Motel 6.
