I stayed many times at the even I’ve always thought the front desk was a little short, rushed border lined rude . However this last visit was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel . I got food poisoning from the shrimp I ate at the restaurant I had to consult a dr. Via video because I couldn’t even get out of bed. The staff was less then helpful they were treating me as if I were lying . I had no reason to do so . I didn’t want anything free I just wanted them to be aware so the item could be removed and nobody else would have to suffer the way I did . My stomach is bloated still . I was in bed vomiting with diarrhea for 3 days my trip was ruined. I got no sympathy from the staff or management. Who didn’t return my calls I had to call her back repeatedly just to speak to her . So much for me being a platinum member. I still got charged for the shrimp by the way.

One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed in. Traveling for work makes hotels 2nd home and this one really felt like it! From service, food, to rooms and how clean everything is. Highly recommend

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, especially for the price. Everything is clean and modern. The gym is large with a ton of equipment and also clean and nice. They also have a great selection of snacks, coffee service and a full service bar and restaurant with good food. Parking is easy and accessible. I stay every time I am in the area.

Had a great time the first time I stayed here. Second time , not so much. Sheets were stained. Bathroom had hair that wasn’t mine and was stained with purple liquid. People above me kept stomping their feet. Woke up to find that someone had tried to get into my room even with the do not disturb sign. Staff is generally great but I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I booked this place as a getaway but I feel like my problems followed me here.

Disappointing Experience from a Loyal IHG Guest, Safety and Professionalism Concerns. As a long-time IHG One Rewards Club member who frequently travels for both work and pleasure, I’ve stayed at multiple EVEN Hotels and other IHG properties with consistently positive experiences. The brand’s focus on wellness, attentiveness, and professionalism usually makes it my go-to choice. Unfortunately, my extended stay (on and off over about three weeks in Jan-February 2026, room 209) at this EVEN Hotel location was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve encountered in years of travel. While some staff members, like Alex at the front desk, were genuinely helpful and kind, the overall service fell short due to one employee’s repeated unprofessional and concerning behavior. During check-in, the front desk associate (who identified herself as Amor) seemed inexperienced, keeping my family waiting over 20 minutes while fumbling with the system without updates or apologies, I remained patient as a repeat guest. Throughout the stay, she was frequently absent from the desk, often engaging in casual interactions with other staff rather than assisting guests. More alarmingly, she abandoned her post entirely during her shift to sit at the bar and mingle with a male employee, creating an unsafe environment, particularly for families with small children, including mine, whom she was rude and volatile toward on multiple occasions. Post-checkout, when I contacted the hotel about valuable prescription medication left in the room fridge (medically necessary and worth hundreds of dollars), another employee (Maria) was hostile over the phone, refused to check or involve housekeeping, placed me on hold without proper greeting, and failed to follow up as promised. This lack of basic courtesy and accountability was shocking for an IHG property. I value the EVEN brand and have loved other locations, but this experience, spanning weeks of stays, highlighted what appears to be a management or training gap. Issues like desk abandonment, on-duty bar hanging, and rudeness toward children don’t align with IHG’s standards or the wellness ethos EVEN promotes. As a loyal guest, I’d prefer to continue supporting the brand elsewhere, but this has made me hesitant to return here.
