My stay at this hotel was amazing from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. I especially loved how peaceful and relaxing the atmosphere was. The location was perfect and close to everything, which made getting around very easy. Housekeeping stayed on top of everything, and the entire property was well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great customer service. Thank Chris Santos and I forgot the lady name but keep up the great work ❤️❤️

Located in South Congress area in the heights. Hotel has a cool vibe, room was comfortable, clean and met our needs. There is a pool available which is very nice, cool vibe. We didn't really get to use it based on the weather. Breakfast in the morning was good, coffee isn't the best but sufficient. The highlight is the staff member that says "morning" to everyone who walks in. Definitely recommend and would return.

This was an absolutely fantastic stay at the Aiden Austin Hotel! Rooms are super clean, free breakfast, great, what's most important, the staff! Leslie was absolutely so amazing to arrange a terrific room and location, Raul manager at the front desk, is equally fantastic! Please share this message online as well as share with Best Western Corp, I fortunately also arrange this reservation through my Delta trips app, part of Delta Airlines, my appreciation to everyone at the hotel and also the folks at Delta that made it possible. Take it from Professor Jan, you must stay at this fantastic hotel! Thanks for reading this and share with all!!
May 2025, I booked a single reservation for: 1 night, 2 rooms with 4 adults per room and 2 dogs per room.
The hotel is square-ish with outer rooms facing away from the hotel, and the inner rooms facing the courtyard pool and they have fake balconies. Clean hotel inside and out. It's a little confusing when you first try to access the rooms from the lobby.
The website says "allows up to two dogs in a limited number of rooms" but Chris said dogs are allowed in all rooms. The weight limit is 80 pounds per dog. Raul said dogs can be left unattended, just have to let the front desk know each time we leave.
Full breakfast from 8-10 am in the attached restaurant. I didn't see all of the food, just the bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrown patties, sausage & egg croissants, (watery)bean & cheese burritos, fruit, muffins, oatmeal, and waffles.
Free coffee is hidden in the elevated lobby corner.
As planned, family had checked into their room an hour before we arrived and got only two key cards. When I arrived, I told Chris that we had two dogs and we read and signed the form. He said they just need to know if we will be leaving them in the room. I said in an hour everyone was going to a wedding nearby. He said if there are any complaints he will call and we must return immediately. After finishing I asked for 4 key cards for our room, and 2 additional keys for the other room that had already checked in since there should be a key card for each adult on the reservation. I don't understand why the other room with 4 adults reserved had been given 2 key cards anyways. Chris had trouble finding the other room information as if it had been a separate reservation, but it wasn't because I booked them online on one reservation.
Chris said it is $40 per dog and a $50 hold for cleaning which I paid on 1 transaction. If no problems were found the $50 would be refunded within 10 days. It's essentially the same thing but how they actually refunded it was the single transaction(dogs and cleaning) was credited back to my card and then charged the card only the dog fee.
Later that evening (about 9pm) other guests had made barking complaints. Chris had trouble getting in touch with my family in that room because he had written down my familys number with one digit incorrectly. Chris eventually figured it out and kept calling and eventually started leaving them threatening messages.
Because the wedding was loud I would occasionally check my phone for calls from the hotel and saw that Chris had called and left me a voice and text, but this was after the calls to my family. I immediately called back and said I was on my way and he said "your family had finally called back and were already on their way". I returned anyway and my family had said Chris threatened to call the pound. I was furious and after I got to the desk Chris said he also has fur babies(like that matters) but since he couldn't get a response he considered the dogs abandoned and he was going to call the pound. I told him when you originally had the wrong number you should have called me, the actual person that made the reservation.
The dogs were on a veterinarian prescribed calming medication just for traveling and fireworks so it's likely there were some loud noises disturbing them.
Do I think the guest should complain about noise? Sure
Do I think staff should threaten to call the pound? Absolutely not
Next morning's conversation…
My family: there was a loud birthday party going on till after midnight with slamming doors and children shouting and running up and down the hallway.
Me: did you complain?
My family: no, we didn't want to bother the staff after the barking complaint.
Me: smh
In summary...
We have stayed at countless La Quinta hotels with never one problem, so my mistake was booking this place.
So, if you have dogs and want a nice looking clean hotel with very easy access to the highway, free breakfast, free coffee, no problem with parties and possible threatening phone calls if you have barking dogs, this may be the place for you.
